Located in historic Irvington, fifteen minutes from downtown! Irvington is a great neighborhood, full of fun new restaurants, shops and cafes, including 10 Johnson Coffee, Jockamo Pizza, gift and clothing shops including Black Sheep and James Dant. We're a block away from Ellenburger Park, where there are festivals and art shows throughout the summer. The small guest room, includes a full sized bed, worldly themes and is a perfect fit for a single traveler coming to the city for conventions!

The space
The bedroom is one of three in a small historic duplex. Large closet space available, and an old school tv with a vhs player makes this a perfect little retro fit for anyone simply wanting a place to chill while in town for conventions!

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole house, which includes a modern kitchen. Living room space for watching tv or netflix and even desk space, including a printer for business trips. Basement includes a washer and dryer.

Other things to note
We have a dog. Friendly and very well trained. He is only permitted in the downstairs area. He is never upstairs or allowed in the rooms. Is caged when we're not home.

The house is a block away from Ellenburger Park, which hosts food trucks on Thursday evenings during the summer. Farmer's Markets every second Sunday and festivals of all kinds on special occasions. The house is right on the bus line or is a five minute Uber ride from downtown. A fifteen minute walk southeast on the new Pennsy trail gets you to all of Irvington's hidden gems, local restaurants, breweries and unique shops.

Places You Must Try: Jockamo's Pizza, Black Acre Brewery, The Legend Restaurant. James Dant as great men's clothes and 10 Johnson is our new local coffee shop. Great outdoor patio and game night Saturdays!

A native Hoosier who loves to travel and explore new places and then write about them. I've travelled to Rome and Florence Italy, The Big Island of Hawaii, England--Bath, London and Stratford Upon Avon, home of Shakespeare and indeed love! One of my girlfriends still lives there, met her husband on our trip! I hope to some day collaborate on that screenplay with her. I've also been to Mexico and taken many road trips across the U.S--one with a fallen warrior of the U.S Army. The trip reminds me to say yes to adventure and yes to life. My hope is to continue traveling, though I've spent the most part of the last two years exploring the great city of San Francisco, which I've had the great fortune to call home. On my list of places I'm still waiting to be asked to experience are India, Brazil and Portland, Oregon.

During your stay
I love my neighborhood! Irvington is a wonderful neighborhood and I love making suggestions. I also lived in San Francisco for many years and love meeting new travelers and exchanging stories.
