Grásteinn is a 200 square meters house, with a big kitchen, bathrooms, a beautiful living room, with large outside patios, a hot tub and a beautiful view over the country side. 

We offer 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 2 people. Two rooms with doeble bed.
You can get extra beds for children in the rooms.

We aim to offer a comfortable Luxurious stay were you can relax, enjoy the hot tub and the magical view in the summer nights or even the Northern Lights at winter. 
On your request we can offer breakfast, or even if you wanted a magical night with no worries at all we can prepair a glorious meal upon request.

We are situated 30 minutes outside Reykjvik, only a couple of minutes from Hveragerði and 10 minutes from Selfoss.
Hveragerði has to offer many magical nature hikes in the geothermal area. To mention the most popular one Reykjadalur, where you can walk up to the geothermal area and soak in a hot spring. 
Also in Hveragerði you will find a good swimmingpool and all the shops and restaurants needed for a nice stay.
In Selfoss, which is a 10 minutes drive away, you also have swimmingpools, restaurants and shops, that is fun to visit. 
You will also be close to many of Iceland´s most visited tourist attractions - The Golden Circle, Þingvellir, Laugarvatn to mention a few, all within an hours drive. 
Driving to Grástein you are already on your way to see the Golden Circle and all that the south side of Iceland has to offer.

We are also really close to the Horse rentals Eldhestar and Sólhestar, actually the same side road as Eldhestar.

Where you’ll be

Hveragerði, Iceland

When you stay with us then you are in a special place because of the location.
The nature is unique and just below the house is one of the biggest bird areas in south Iceland.
Only a few hundred meters from the house is a trout fishing river and just further up the road are Eldhestar horse rental and there is also a restaurant.
