Plenty of space for quests to relax and enjoy this charming, small town, property. This is the perfect place for family and friends to hang out or for the outdoor enthusiasts to use as a basecamp for all the hunting and outdoor activities the Bassett area has to offer. Listing is for 2-28 day stays. To stay longer, a new booking will be required every 28 days.
The space
KITCHEN: Large and well equipped that includes an air fryer, Kurieg coffee maker (by the pot or by the pod), pots and pans, electric skillets, crock pot, baking sheets, toaster, and dinnerware / silverware for 8 people. Coffee, teas and sweeteners are provided along with most condiments, oils, and spices.
BEDROOMS: All 3 bedrooms have plush NEW queen sized mattresses and premium quality bedding that include down comforters. There is an extra pillow and blanket in the bench located in each bedroom.
BATHROOMS: Full bathroom with shower / tub is located on the first floor, a half bathroom is located on the second floor. Toiletries are available.
LIVING / DINING SPACE: Living room with full sized couch, love seat, fast Starlink internet and a 43" LG Smart TV. Dining room is located near the kitchen. Dining table has seating for 6 but a leaf can be added for additional seating. The "Back room" has a very comfy couch and love seat. Washer and dryer are available to guests and are located behind bi-fold door just off the kitchen.
NOT INCLUDED: The garage and a locked room located on the first floor next to the stairs are private and not included in the rental. PLEASE NOTE that motion activated security cameras are located in both of these areas.
OUTDOOR INFO: Enjoy the Nebraska sunsets / sunrises and quaint, small town charm on the front porch. As the contractors schedule allows, there will be a 12' x 16' concrete patio added in the back yard but, currently has not been completed. There are a few outdoor chairs available to quests that are located in the smaller shed, please put them beck when you are done. Charcoal grill is available for your use but you need to provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid. There is room on the north side of the garage to park a trailer, motorhome, or camper however I can only provide a 15amp circuit at this time. ( additional fee may apply so please inquire prior to your reservation). Big fenced-in back yard for your use.
THE SPACE: There is NO SMOKING of any kind (this includes vaping) inside the house or inside any buildings on the property. Please discard cigarette butts into a can or bottle, then into the trash can outside. Violation of this smoking policy will incur an additional cleaning fee of $750.00.
PETS: Well trained pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee of $75 per pet, for the duration of your stay. ABSOLUTELY no pets on the furniture or beds. Pets must be leashed and supervised when not in the back yard. The back yard has a 4' tall fence around it with no holes or gaps for the pets to get through (please inspect prior to letting your pets back there). You are fully responsible for any actions of your pets, inside or outside the property, including any and all damages/ additional cleaning required.
QUIET TIME: Please respect the neighbors and keep voices and music to a minimum after 10:00pm and before 8:00AM.
PARTIES: No parties or large gatherings without prior approval from the property owner.
MINORS: Minors are not allowed to rent or stay on the property without adult supervision.
NO SUBLETTING: of any kind

Everything in the home is open to guests, with exception to one room on the main floor that has not been remodeled and is currently used for storage. It will be locked and has a motion detection camera installed within that room. Garage is also not included but, if you need something, let me know and it may be available in there to help you out in a pinch.
Other things to note
G&V's Grocery Store, US post office, The Range Cafe, thrift shops, churches, Corral Bar, Allen's Pizza Place, NAPA Auto Parts, a city park, The Cowboy Trail, a bank, and a hardware store are all within a 1-3 minute walk from this home. Less than a mile to the hospital, gas station, and HWY 20.
2.0 Miles - KRBE Rock County Airport
2.7 Miles - Bassett County Club (open to public) Wednesday's are steak night.
9.4 Miles - Long Pine Creek. Tube down the creek or try fishing for trout.
11.7 miles - Niobrara River. Go canoeing, kayaking, tubing, cat fishing, or just grab a chair and a cooler and hang out on a sandbar. It's about another 38 miles upriver but check out Rocky Ford Camp and Outfitters website if you're needing to rent canoes, tubes, or kayaks. (you float down the river, they'll come pick you up!).
If you hunt, you'll be in heaven here in these parts of Nebraska...... Bring your fishing poles, go for a hike on the Cowboy Trail, or go see how many birds you can identify.
Additional guests (over 8) may be able to be accommodated at an additional costs. There are a couple couches and also have a queen sized blow-up mattress that can be available.
