This is the cosiest and sunniest south facing cottage imaginable. It has a small south facing terrace with a table for the sundowner, a double bedroom and a simple single (but with a full size bed). Woodburner, granite fireplace, history ... and CH!

The space

Primrose Cottage is IN an Iron Age fort and next to a Fogou. It is cosy but not cramped and has a great wood burning stove for chilly evenings. Peaceful and calm, a chance to step back a little.

Guest access

Two fields walk (or a short drive) to the great Trelowarren swimming pool (27 degrees, outdoors) and the New Yard Restaurant.

Interaction with guests

Emma will make sure all is well and give you all the info you need. You have my mobile as well if there are nay little problems.

Other things to note

There is free wi-fi by the pool and in the NYR but there is a small fee for wi-fi in the cottage.
There is a weekly Yoga class in the gym on Wednesday mornings and in the Summer that is on Fridays as well. Booking needed.

Beautiful estate with very enjoyable walks. Lankidden has a well equipped kitchen making it easy to cook for oneself. Ideal location close to restaurant, pool and tennis court but still quiet. Victoria went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed and volunteered information on gardens etc. do visit Bonython gardens.

It was great to meet Margaret who was clearly an intrepid traveller and determined to make the most of coming to Cornwall.

A lovely, well kept, little cottage, as part of a tiny hamlet on a large country estate surrounded by woodland and with on-site restaurant and spa. A fantastic place to stay and very family friendly. Would definitely book again!

We had such a lovely stay at Primrose. Myself and my husband stayed here with our 4 month old baby and Dachshund for our first family holiday. It was cosy, clean, warm and a great location to visit Cornwalls beautiful beaches and pasty spots. I even managed to try out the yoga class and go for a run around the forest. We will be returning soon. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Victoria and Emma both made us feel very welcome. The cottage was delightful - just as described and very clean. We loved it. It is in the loveliest countryside and yet near to the facilities of the Trelowarren Estate. It was especially nice strolling across the field paths to the restaurant and pool area. Would def go again.

WOW beautiful cottage in a stunning location! We stayed with our Labrador for three nights, the location was great the new yard restaurant within the grounds was amazing great food and wines! Also the pizza nights (Wednesday & Sunday) were great. The cottage was especially clean and had everything you could need. High spec fixers and fittings and furniture was lovely. Lovely comfortable beds and again VERY clean! We would love to and will stay again!

The cottage was really comfortable and had clearly been done up quite recently. The Estate itself was perfect, miles to walk the dog and the pool was divine, not at all cold despite being outdoors. The restaurant was great food, although note that dogs are not allowed inside if there is a chance arriving in the rain! Victoria was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, she runs several different cottages around the estate and is clearly used to chaotic people like us! Would definitely revisit.

We had such a lovely stay at Primrose Cottage! Beautiful cottage, amazing surroundings and great access to the Lizard Peninsula. The cottage was immaculate with the comfiest bed ever! We even got the chance to try the log burner as the weather turned a little chilly on a couple of evenings! Great enclosed front garden for our dog to relax outside, lovely peaceful surroundings and even access to the estate's heated outside pool which we took advantage of. I would highly recommend a stay and we hope to return again! Thanks Victoria!

I'm glad you loved Primrose - I do too. I think it's the views and the sense that it's so away from the world. Do come again. Victoria
