This fully restored Tuscan farmhouse is simply precious! Breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and Cortona. Very cozy home, and only a seven minute drive into the center of Cortona. An hour train ride to Florence, and two from Rome. Amazing!

There are many grocery stores close to the house. A&O is the nearest full service grocery store nearby. The train station in Camucia is also about 5 minutes from the house and there is another train station in the town of Terrontola.

This was the perfect place for us to explore both Tuscany and Umbria. We were 2 couples travelling together through Italy and it was lovely to have a base for a whole week. We were very comfortable in this beautiful old farmhouse which had everything we needed. There was a slight problem when we arrived as the wrong key had been left in the key box for our self check in, but a phone call to Liesl sorted it out. Not sure what we would have done if we hadn't had a phone. However, everything else was perfect and the view over the countryside was amazing.

If your dream is to spend time in Tuscany and experience the lifestyle of this beautiful area then this home is a must. It is truly a home away from home. Easy to access many of the sights Tuscany has to offer and I know I will certainly be returning. Note a car is a must and access to the property is via a narrow road. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

Out in the hills overlooking Cortana. Fabulous sunset views from our outdoor patio and eating area. Easy to get into Cortana and a short drive to many of the beautiful hilltop towns in Tuscany. We loved it. A bit hard to find even with good directions. GPS would not pick up the address. Fabulous little restaurant in Ossaia. Ate there twice.

Great house in a great location and, unlike what I read in a comment, it was not too hot at night (considering that we kept the curtains closed when we left for the day) + there is an AC in the upstairs room. I would totally recommend this house for 2 couples or a family. Thank you Liesl for a great stay!

I can't say enough about the few days a friend and I stayed here. The house is just so charming and comfortable with the most incredible view. Evenings spent enjoying wine while watching the sunset over the tuscan countryside is hard to beat! All the creature comforts anyone would want while still feeling like an authentically old tuscan farmhouse. Ten minutes to Cortona and so many other beautiful hilltop towns a short drive away, I can't recommend this beautiful house on the hill enough. Super comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a friendly neighbor who comes to check all is ok and offer suggestions, all very clean. A bit hard to find in the dark (when we first arrived!), but Liesl's detailed directions helped to no end! Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and stunning. Such a find!

What an amazing home. Authentically Tuscan in every way with all the comforts of home - and then some. We could almost hear the stories of all the hundreds of years of residents & guests. Beautifully, comfortably, & authentically decorated, a fully equipped kitchen, comfy bedrooms & super clean baths. Pizza oven, gorgeous fireplace, great local books, solid wifi. Did I mention location? Only a short hop to Firenze, Assisi, Montepulciano, Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago (close!), Pienza, Todi, Siena, beaches on both coasts ... and Cortona only 10-mins away. Heaven. All of it. Oh, and did I mention the view? Breathtaking. Every minute of every day. Book this. If you found it, it's a sign. Book it. You'll later thank all of us who've been lucky enough to be guests of Liesl & Danny and wrote reviews. Godere!

Tuscan perfection! We arrived to a breathtaking sunset over the hills, olive trees and vineyards and fell in love with this gorgeous home and area. The historic house has all the comforts you need for a relaxing holiday and the location is great to visit many small medieval towns. We were sad to leave and would not love to return.
