Other things to note
Pünderich is a typical wine village waterside on the Mosel River next to Zell and Traben Trarbach, Bernkastel Kues and Cochem. 40 minutes to Koblenz or Trier (oldest town in Germany founded by the romans), by train or car. It is a nice, quiet village surrounded by pure nature and deep, mysterious forests.
On the riverside of Pünderich you have the most beautiful and peaceful promenades along the Mosel with expansive lawns and Walnut avenues. The narrow cobble stone lanes and streets of the old village invite you to explore the times of the Middle Ages.
Throughout your stay with us we will be available for advice on tours, day trips, tourist highlights, dining, wine tasting, leisure and sport activities, hiking, biking smooth along the river or wild into the forest etc on offer in Puenderich and Mosel area.
We recommend for those who are courageous the nearby climbing park or watching the snaking, glittering Mosel from above by sitting in a glider.
Interested in history and great past civilizations ? Then we should advice to visit altitude settlements of the Celts like Bundenbach (Hunsrück-Eifel-Culture 500 B.C) or Martberg.
Otherwise one can explain you the mechanism of an origin celtic plant built by the romans or just find your way to Trier the oldest city of Germany, founded by the romans in 16.B.C with all its historic buildings like the Porta Nigra, the Amphitheatre or the magnificent cathedral of emperor Constantin the Great who reigned in a capital of the roman empire namely Trier called Augusta Treverorum.
