Interaction with guests

Throughout your stay with us we will be available for advice on tours, day trips, tourist highlights, dining, wine tasting, leisure and sport activities, hiking, biking smooth along the river or wild into the forest etc on offer in Puenderich and Mosel area. We recommend for those who are courageous the nearby climbing park or watching the snaking, glittering Mosel from above by sitting in a glider. Interested in history and great past civilizations ? Then we should advice to visit altitude settlements of the Celts like Bundenbach (Hunsrück-Eifel-Culture 500 B.C) or Martberg. Otherwise one can explain you the mechanism of an origin celtic plant built by the romans or just find your way to Trier the oldest city of Germany, founded by the romans in 16.B.C with all its historic buildings like the Porta Nigra, the Amphitheatre or the magnificent cathedral of emperor Constantin the Great who reigned in a capital of the roman empire namely Trier called Augusta Treverorum.

Other things to note

Pünderich is a typical wine village waterside on the Mosel River next to Zell and Traben Trarbach, Bernkastel Kues and Cochem. 40 minutes to Koblenz or Trier (oldest town in Germany founded by the romans), by train or car. It is a nice, quiet village surrounded by pure nature and deep, mysterious forests. On the riverside of Pünderich you have the most beautiful and peaceful promenades along the Mosel with expansive lawns and Walnut avenues. The narrow cobble stone lanes and streets of the old village invite you to explore the times of the Middle Ages.

Nicole communicates well. Her house is a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for relaxing. Nicole has decorated the place beautifully and it was a pleasure to spend time here. We were only two but it would be great for more people. There are two balconies and one courtyard. It is situated in a small village but close to many activities and transport. Nicole left a bottle of wine for us. Very nice welcome.

We had a lovely stay for three weeks with our 3-year old. The playground is a five-minute walk and has a grand view. Plenty of space inside and enough appliances to cook and wash. Perfect location to go out and about from. Plenty facilities available within a 15-minute drive, there is a baker and a few restaurants within walking distance. Nicole is a lovely host, provided all the assistance we needed.

We spent a lovely week in Nicole's holiday house on the Mosel river. Nicole is a wonderful and very considerate host, full of nice little attentions for her guests - when we arrived, a really good bottle of wine was waiting for us (the Mosel wine yummmmm.... ) and sweets for our son. The house is very comfortable, pretty, recently and tastily renovated, but keeping some character from its history of more than 100 years. It has a small garden, with a barbecue and upstairs a small sunny terrace full of wisteria, which is a small piece of heaven. There is everything you need in the house, from hair dryer to coffee pads ☺ even kids toys, games and DVDs. The house in general is very kid friendly. The region is gorgeous, with plenty of things to do - wine tasting, hiking, adventure parks, castles, lovely little towns by the river, boat trips etc. Nicole left us plenty of leaflets, maps and info in the house. We loved our stay in Punderich and we highly recommend Nicole's place - she is the best!
