Woodland Studio Exeter is a tree studded small farm 20mins from Bowral & only 3kms from charming Exeter in the heart of the Highlands. The perfect escape for a family of 4 or romantic getaway for couples. Indulge inside, or step outside to feed the very friendly Suffolk sheep & shy alpacas with us (all included). Explore the farm, orchard, veg, beehives, bocce & native wildlife. Mid week rates, breakfast provisions, small dogs welcome - please ask.

The space
Woodland Studio is a beautifully refurbished farm building providing fresh stylish self contained accommodation perfectly suited for either one or two couples, or a family of four.

The light filled main Studio Room contains a KING bed beneath an overhead skylight perfect for stargazing and a romantic weekend away with two lovely long lounges, TV and DVD, boardgames, magazines and books and can easily accommodate a BYO portacot.

The 2nd Bedroom contains another KING bed, which can be converted to two plush singles giving the option to accommodate another couple in privacy or 2 singles. There is an additional sofa in the Snug Room adjacent - a private space to put the feet up & enjoy a book, mag or board game.

The Kitchenette and Dining space contains a dining table, four chairs and kitchenette - the perfect place to enjoy meals with views to the orchard, or the paddocks beyond. The kitchenette provides a fridge, sink, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee pod machine, crockery, cutlery, glasses and essentials. There is an outdoor BBQ in the courtyard for your use. We provide breakfast provisions for your first morning: bread, milk, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee pods.

The heated Bathroom contains a shower (no bath) and views out over your own private garden. There is a separate toilet.

If your booking is for 2 people you have access to the entire Studio except Bedroom 2. If your booking is for 3 or 4 people you will have access to the entire Studio plus Bedroom 2 which we can configure as a king bed for a couple OR 2 singles for 2 children. Let us know your preference when you book.

You have a private garden at the back of the Studio where you can enjoy a morning coffee or late afternoon drink, whilst gazing out over the surrounding paddocks. This area is fenced and suitable for small dogs.

If you would like to meet and feed the sheep and alpacas with us please let us know & we'll arrange a time - our woolly crew love meeting our guests & this farm experience is at no extra charge!

We ask that you keep the farm gates closed please (if you find them that way) to help keep the flock safe.

Feel free to roam around the orchard and veggie patch, and the ornamental tree plantings. Help yourself to any fruit in season.
Please supervise small children as there are two fenced dams on the farm.

The bathroom is fresh and new, and contains a heated shower room (no bath).
The kitchenette contains a fridge, toaster, microwave (no stove/oven), coffee pod machine, kettle, crockery, cutlery and essentials. There is an outdoor BBQ for your use.
We provide lovely fresh breakfast provisions for your first morning to get you started OR a voucher to our lovely local Exeter General Store - your choice!
A high chair and baby bath are available if needed.

We're in the heart of the Southern Highlands, so Woodland Studio is a lovely rural retreat and a great central place to explore from....
It's a 4km stroll into Exeter village, where you will find the famous Exeter General Store, the lovely Quintessential Exeter shop, the Village Pump Antiques and the historic St Aidan's Anglican Church. The oval at Exeter hosts the Exeter Village Market on the first Saturday morning of each month - worth a visit to pick up some local produce. The heritage listed Exeter train station is very pretty too.
Woodland Studio is also located just 20 minutes drive from Bowral and Berrima, and only 10 minutes from beautiful Bundanoon, Sutton Forest and Moss Vale - and an enticing selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs and cool climate wineries.
