May was friendly and welcoming. We we not at 'home'very much during the daytime and only had a short stay. The stairs were difficult to manage for older ladies with luggage but this is unavoidable in the style of homes here in england. Close enough to london with bus and train services.

I stayed at Mays house with my mum, uncle and aunt. The room was big enough for the 4 of us, plus all their plane luggage. TV worked and the Sofa bed my mum and I shared was very comfortable! The bathroom was clean, although we did experience cold showers due to the number of other people staying in the house.. And the heating service is only turned on at certain times. Kitchen was good, everything you needed to cook etc. the house itself was clean, but like some of the other reviews, can be a little noisy, especially with people in the room next to you, kids and noisy floors. The house was warm in the evenings and perfect for a weeks' stay. May was a lovely host, I had the pleasure of meeting her and she was incredibly polite. Location is fairly good, tube station about a 10 minute walk which will then take you into London so you can change trains. Bus stop is also close. Heaps of convenience stores around, would definitely stay here again if I needed a place to sleep :) Thanks May!

Great place for the price, simple, clean and comfortable. Reasonably close to the train so that was good too. Communication was a bit lacking. "Flexible checkout" lead to us having a knock on the door with a cleaner telling us we had to get out because the next guests would be arriving in 15 minutes. A message letting us know this before hand would have been appreciated :) Would still recommend though.

May was always quick to respond via messages, and offered towels, adapters, coffee and tea throughout the stay. The house is located in tube zone 3, which is not bad for London.

Very cool 50's themed kitchen coupled with clean bathrooms and our own space made for a perfect stay. The location is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube stop and it made our stay in London easy and safe!

May was a super host! So glad we had to stay at her place while in London. Everything was as nice as expected, plus the underground was at 10 minutes by walk and then 20 Minutes from the center :) I highly recommend May and her flat!

The house was excellent for us as a family of 4 people. The landlady was attentive and available to us. Good location within a 10-minute walk to the underground. Definitely a place to go back to. One thing that can be difficult for people with back problems. The pull-down sofa is not for everyone.

I have my own Soft Furnishing Business, and work Freelance. I used to Party a lot on the Rock n Roll Scene. I still love the cars, fashion, music of the 40's 50's & 60's but these days I'm more interested in getting together with Friends over dinner, going to Church and Family…
