From Vaggilis' excellent job of building the house to Sofia's cakes and bakes, our stay was perfect - such a beautiful place, finished with lovely little touches throughout. Already missing morning coffee on the terrace shaded by grapevines looking over the hills...

Very nice house where Eva's parents welcome you very kindly. The house is ideally located to discover the west of the island, especially the Balos beach. And you can spend great time there, with the terrace, the garden and the barbecue. I warmly recommend Eva's house.

We loved our stay here! The house was amazing, pictures do not do it justice! The house was a beautiful stone home built into a mountain side and remodeled by Eva's dad. When we arrived her parents were there to greet us. They had their homemade Raki and some spinach pies ready for us to enjoy. They also left their homemade olive oil and some drinks in the fridge for us to have. We loved the place so much we decided to stay and extra night. Eva was very accommodating with our change of plans. The view was beautiful form the balcony of the second floor. We will defiantly consider staying here again when visit Crete in the future!

Eva’s villa is one of a kind. The pictures reflect it well but reality certainly surpasses them. The good size of the house, the attention and originality of the decorative details, the abundance and functionality of the furniture (and kitchen equipment), the impressive bathroom and, very specially, the huge terrace (or terraces) are only what _anybody_ can see. Staying in Villa Kamara is a unique experience that, in our case, started with a very warm and incredibly generous reception by Eva’s parents. They waited for us (despite a serious delay in our arrival), and received us with open arms, plenty of homemade food and drinks, and a lot of time to give us an introduction into the life in the villa and in Crete (including all sorts of practical advice). Living in the house—i.e. enjoying its structure and spaces, its light, its atmosphere, its views, and its location--allows for a peaceful and charming immersion in Crete’s life. The villa is easily reachable by car (about two hours from the airport on a good road) and it is relatively close to some of the best beaches in Crete (we visited Balos and Elafonissi) and to a number of picturesque towns (most notably Chania). The immediate natural surroundings, in their simplicity, are also quite pleasant to the senses.

The house is even better than we expected. The view of the mountains from the balcony was unforgettable. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and for the delicious treats.
