This is a single occupancy room. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO PUT 2 PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM :)
This beautiful, casual, historic home, located in a residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the beach, is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay and the town. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.

AVAILABLE : The Crows Nest
The "CROWS NEST" of our historic Craftsman house - it was used as an observation room during the war. Beautiful and bright with 180 degree + window views with shared 2 bathrooms (1 full bath and a half bath) in private home, a one person double bed (if you are over 6' it might be too short for you), hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, sitting/desk area, wireless internet, Towels and a spa Bath Robe. We supply Dr bronners soap but you will want to bring your shampoo and toiletries. Continental breakfast served each morning in the dining room, featuring an organic and/or natural selection. Access to washer/dryer/iron.
Rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products.

It was a good experience to stay at this historical landmark & met Annemarie, Jesse and Jocelyne. Great place & lovely people. The hosts provide detailed instructions upon confirmation & arrival. It feels a bit like treasure hunt. Interesting. The place is cozy and well decorated with art works. Didn't get to meet them on arrival as came in late but had a great time meeting them all over the breakfast time and chat. Thank you for hosting me & this place is surely recommended.

I had a fantastic short one night stay at this bnb. The hosts were very communicative about check-in and some local info prior to arriving, and since they all live on-sight, they’re very accesible should you have any questions about the area or simply want to chat over a cup of coffee. They also invited me to enjoy an outdoor movie night in the garden, which Annemarie mentioned they try to do every Monday. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious, and I appreciated that they offer it until a bit later in the morning (9:30) for those of us who don’t wake up super early. This little room was fantastic, by the way. Since three of the four walls are windows, you get a nice cool sea breeze in the evening. Overall, I was very much regretting not booking a second or third night here, and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Very clean! I feel I was living in a hotel. The host provide clean towels and folded them nicely. A large bottle of clean water is provided in the room. Plus there is free cookie and complimentary breakfast. I would say this is my best Airbnb experience so far.

Annemarie, Jesse and Jocelyne have an outstanding Airbnb. They are very warm and welcoming. A stay at their house also includes a substantial continental breakfast as well as tea and cookies offered throughout the day. Their house sits on a hill with beautiful views of the bay and surrounding area. The house is across the street from a bus stop making it convenient for those without cars. The house itself is clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again !!

This B&B is the perfect location when visiting the Monterey area, and the hospitality of Annemarie, Jesse and Jocelyne is exceptional. The historic home and grounds are a lovely setting; the accommodations are very comfortable, well-maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of menu items and the morning conversation with other guests is always delightful! With my room on the second floor, I especially appreciated the help offered in carrying my luggage up and down the stairs! Jesse also has great recommendations for guests who are new to the area. And, if you speak French, you will enjoy conversations with Jocelyne! I would highly recommend this B&B.
