In the heart of Wellington, our updated 1880's farmhouse offers the best of the county. Bike to world-class vineyards, walk to the beach and great restaurants, or kick-back by a bonfire and count the stars. (July and August, weekly only Saturday to Saturday)

The space
Our County Place is ideal for two to three couples or small family groups. Although it is not wheelchair accessible, there is a main floor bedroom and bath for those with limited mobility.

Guest access
You'll have the run of the place, including a one-acre backyard, great for kids, backing on to a hay field for a country view. There is a fire pit and lawn chairs for evening campfires and a deck with a gas barbecue for outdoor cooking.

We are a three minute stroll up from the water, and just two doors down from the Millennium trail. We are not only surrounded by vineyards, we are in the middle of the Artists' Trail. Be sure to check out our neighbors' galleries and studios. If you see a painted bike out front, they welcome visitors.

Please remember that Wellington is a small village and Our County Place is in a residential area. By law, there is to be no excessive noise after 11 pm. Please respect our neighbours and come and go quietly after 11 pm. No loud parties, please.

I am a writer, married to a college professor, with a son in high school. We love our place in Prince Edward County, where we entertain friends and family, read, relax, beach, bike, hike, enjoy the outdoors, and explore. Toronto based, we summered for years in Maine, lived for a time in London, England, and have traveled widely in the US, Caribbean, Europe, and South East Asia. With backgrounds in theatre, our perfect night would be having a great meal in a great restaurant -- laughing with good friends.
