Rather bad experience with this apartment and host. There was no hot water for ten days, which host did not warn about it compensate for. The apartment is more dilapidated and dirty than appears in the pictures. Most of all it is absolutely crammed with stuff, making it difficult…

1. About hot water. This is a bad Moscow's "tradition" to switch off a hot water on ten days at summer. Dates when a hot water will be switch off is announced in May. Justin booked my apartment in February and I could not warn he about hot water. However Justin "forgot" about generous discount that I gave him when booking. Also Justin "forgot" about he changed the booking dates and I freely provided him with compensation. 2. About my personal things. These are books, some clothes (you can see it in photos) and a little food in fridge.Yes, I live in this apartment. In accordance with Airbnb's philosophy I offer my personal accommodation and can go on a trip at this time. All my guests (and Justin including) are warned about this. 3. About "ubiquitous clutter". Justin got my flat like it looks in the photos: clean and serviceable. Justin lived here for a month and could do at my home all what he want. I met around 400 guests in 5 years on Airbnb but Justin was a first (!) guest who broke the glass at my home. Also Justin broke the iron, the telephone and the draining tank and was extremely rude with my bed linen. I'm sure that the problem is not in my furnishing, but in Justin.
The flat is definitely old style and retro. It is located in a nice area and easy to get to. However, for the price it wasn't worth it - the flat is extremely dirty (ants, mold and grease in the kitchen on everything, including plates and cutlery; the bathroom was so black and di…

Thanks Nelli for visit and long detailed review. But here are about 10 words of truth and 90 words of lies. 1) I invite a professional cleaner from the agency before each guest's visit. So I don't understand about what mold and grease Nelli told. 2) My washing machine is working perfectly and I proposed Nelli to use it. 3) My bed was new and in good condition before the visit Nelli and her husband. I can assume that they jumped on it. The mattress is also new and cannot be "dirty". 4) Also, toilet flushing was perfect before the Nelli's visit. 5) I live in this apartment in the absence of guests. Accordingly, the things in the fridge and bathroom are mine. I can assume Nelli was insulted to see my milk in fridge, but she used it. 6) I am in contact all the time and did not receive a text next day. 7) At last, about price. I'm not chasing profit and my price is one of the lowest in the center of Moscow.
