Wander through the magical award-winning olive trees, surf the wild Southern Ocean waves, catch fresh fish, or walk and swim the many kilometres of isolated beaches. Relax on the golden sands overlooking the vast horizon of Storm Bay towards Betsy Island, Iron Pot Lighthouse, Bruny Island, the Tasman Peninsula, and southwards to Antarctica.
Wildlife is abundant at Lauriston Grove with a unique eco-system of wetlands, wild oceans, pine forest and olive grove. It’s not unusual to spot the great birds of prey soaring the sky, Sea Eagles, Wedge Tail Eagles, Swamp Harriers and Peregrine Falcons to name a few. Thousands of Mutton Birds pepper the sky at dusk before they return to their rookery nests. Wallabies, echidnas, potoroos and Bandicoots are amongst the many marsupials to be seen.

This retreat encompasses a spacious bedsit living area with a luxurious queen bed, leather couch that converts to queen bed divan for additional guests, ensuite bathroom, large kitchen and dining table for 4. The area is airconditioned for maximum comfort.
Large picture windows and doors take in the magnificent vistas across the olive grove, wetlands, pine forests with water views to Mortimer Bay. Outdoor spaces include large timber deck area and access to a protected courtyard with woodfired pizza oven and bbq facilities. There is conveniently located parking alongside the building.
