A spacious get-away nestled amidst desert trees in view of the breath taking Dragoon Mountain range. Living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom spaces. 12 foot by 32 foot roofed patio allows for indoor/outdoor living. The only sounds you are likely to hear are those of the coyote and other desert friends.

There is a telescope available to view the amazing night skies. We also have a ground set fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the mountains at night.

The space
Plenty of comfy space and large windows for panoramic views of the desert and mountains. Privacy provided by trees that abound on the property. A metal roof covers a concrete porch area that provides a Weber grill and dining and patio furniture for your comfort. There is a copper bowl fireplace on the patio. You are at the base of the Dragoon Mountains and under a sky in which the Milky Way is visible on clear nights.

Guest access
You are welcome to explore and enjoy the entire forty acres of this property. There is a wash traversing the property that can become a running river during heavy rains but is usually dry. Walk along the wash canopied by trees or visit the butterfly garden in front of our home.

Other things to note
You will be in the middle of the Southeastern part of Arizona. In any direction are varied sites and activities of interest. This area has a great degree of historical significance in relation to early settlements of the West. We have varied flora and fauna due to the small footprint of people living in this area. We are at an elevation of 4,500 feet above sea level, thus this area is a mix of desert and high chapparal (scrub trees and bushes). You are within 10 minutes of Cochise Stronghold. The history of these mountains, and the Apache who called this area home, is described on plaques and there are several hikes within this range.
