Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway looking out over Lake Te Anau and the mountains of Fiordland. Relax on the deck and enjoy the view. Situated on a ten acre block just 5 minutes drive from Te Anau on your way to Milford Sound. A great place to stop on your journey whether you have been hiking through the hills or seeing the sights. Our cute but modern cottage (built 2019) is well equipped with a full kitchen and all the comforts of home. Come and enjoy the serenity!

The space
The cottage is situated on our property where we also live. It is accessed from a shared driveway but has its own driveway and area for parking etc, outside areas and is screened from our house by plantings.

Guest access
There is ample open space around the cottage for guests to enjoy. We have a small number of sheep but these are away from the main part of the property. We are happy to show you around however we ask that guests don't wander too far from the cottage unless requested..

We are a couple ( Chris and Linda ) who live on the edge of Fiordland with our two children on our ten acre property. We have just finished building our own house here which means the cottage is available for guests. We have both worked in the conservation area and spent a lot of time working with our precious and rare native species. We love living in Te Anau, it's a great community and a beautiful place to live....and visit.
