Stoneborough House is a fine Edwardian home situated within the pretty seaside town of Budleigh Salterton. Budleigh marks the beginning of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and walkers will enjoy wonderful views from the coastal path in both directions. There are also scenic and interesting walks to be had along the River Otter. Budleigh Salterton itself has a lovely selection of independent shops and restaurants and a couple of pubs. Exmouth with its long Sandy beach and Sidmouth with its attractive shops and buildings are only a 10 minute drive whilst the historic city of Exeter is less than half an hour away. Dartmoor is also an easy drive away.
We have three large guest bedrooms, one with a kingsized bed, one with a double and one with twin beds. We also have a stunning guest sitting room and south facing conservatory for guests to enjoy. All rooms are beautifully furnished to the highest standard with fine antiques and pieces collected during a lifetime of travel.
We are told by guests that our breakfasts are outstanding! The menu is extensive and includes a spectacular platter of seasonal fruit, freshly made porridge, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as, of course, the option of a 'full English'. For those that still have room, we have a selection of, at last count, fifteen different homemade jams and marmalades to accompany your toast and croissants!
Please do have a look at our website and also at our trip advisor reviews to see what our guests think. If you like what you see, we would love to welcome you to Stoneborough House.
