The casa is a calm oasis from the colorful street scene, located in the heart of the downtown area of Guadalajara. It's a lovingly restored home with two beautiful courtyards, high ceilings, French baroque plaster, and ornate wrought iron. Bienvenido

The space
There are beautiful outdoor spaces including two open courtyards, a second floor patio off of the master that overlooks the front courtyard, and a large rooftop deck.

Guest access
All of the rooms and patios are open to our guests with the exception of one second floor bedroom.

Other things to note
There is construction in the area due to a major city project of adding a subway route one block from the house on Avenida Alcalde. The street is now converted to pedestrian and is almost complete. We’re excited for the opening of the new transit line!

The area of The Santuario is know as the stone church area. There are seven old stone churches nearby and they all play their bells on the hour. The Santuario de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, built in 1777, is one block away and is worth a visit.
The house is on Pedro Loza which is a pedestrian street that goes directly to the main downtown area. The area is a true snapshot of typical urban living with small family shops lining the streets and markets galore with fresh fruits and vegetables.
