The space

Located in historic, tree lined Queen Street Honey Apartments is the perfect choice to spread out and make your self at home. The advantage of this home is everything Melbourne has to offer is just out your front door. The location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of the central business district with Melbourne’s famous laneways only a block away and the city’s amazing shopping, dining and cultural options all so very close. You won’t need a car here – everything is an easy walk or tram ride away.

The Honey Apartments is a contemporary update on the building’s art deco past and being the larger of the two and sleeps up to five. Both apartments feature crisp white walls that are the perfect canvas: think contemporary photography, colorful canvases and bright throw rugs.

The walls of windows bathe Honey Apartment in light, giving a relaxed, airy feeling. And with all of Melbourne’s enticements at your door, it’s great to know that those windows are also double-glazed, ensuring a good night’s sleep.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. TARIFFS
Tariffs are current and are subject to change without notice. In the event of a tariff increase, bookings confirmed by deposit will be honoured at the prevailing tariff at the time of booking.

2. BOOKINGS
To secure your booking a deposit of 50% of the total sum booked is required. The balance of monies is due before arrival via the Internet or upon arrival at check in, in the form of cash, Australian personal cheque or bank draft.
Kirstin Honey is the sole booking agent for Honey Apartments.
Any bookings taken via other people will not be honoured. If in doubt please call Kirstin on (phone number hidden) speak to her directly.

3. CANCELLATIONS
You will need to refer to the cancelation policy's as dictated on this website.

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
The security deposit will only be returned after the end of the occupancy once all keys have been returned, the apartment and contents checked for damages, data and power consumption has not exceeded limits and the apartment doesn’t required excessive cleaning set out in No. 11, No. 13, No.14 .

5. CHECKING IN AND OUT
Check in = 3pm (1500 hrs)
Check out = 11am (1100 hrs)
If you wish to secure a check in before 11am or a check out after 3pm you will need to book and pay for the entire extra night. If you request a earlier check in or later check out without paying for the extra night these requests will only be facilitated between the hours of 11am and 3pm, and will be subject to availability.
In all cases we endeavour to check people in as quickly as possible and if a later check out is possible we are happy to oblige between the hours of 11am and 3pm.

6. NON SMOKING
The apartment and entire building is a non smoking environment. Smoking is only possible on the public footpath away from the building entry.

7. ANIMALS
No animals are permitted in the apartment or building as it is against the Body Corporate Regulations.

8. TELEPHONES
It is not possible to have the phone connected during your stay.

9. FUNCTIONS
Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions or parties are strictly prohibited!

10. OCCUPANTS
It is a legal requirement to provide the name of ALL people staying in the apartment during the occupied time as dictated by the body corporate in accordance with fire regulations.

11. POWER
The quoted price of your stay includes a daily usage of AUD$10 of power (Approximately 35kwh/day, more than twice the average consumption of a 2 bedroom house). If you use power over this amount the excess amount will be deducted from your security deposit.

12. DAMAGES
All damages or loss of Honey Apartment property during your stay will be billed to the person who booked. This includes, but is not limited to, all items within the apartment, adjoining apartments and keys. Please note, as security is of such a high precedence to Honey Apartments, if you loose any of the keys you will be charged for the cost incurred to change the locks.

13. CLEANING
The apartment should be left in a reasonable manner when you leave, close to the state when you arrived. If cleaning in excess of 3 hours is required after your departure this will be deducted from the security deposit at a rate of AUD$50 per hour.

14. INTERNET
Unlimited Wi-Fi Internet is included with accommodation at no extra charge.

Kirsten is a great host. She made sure that we were happy. The apartment is very well located near Melbourne CBD and Southbank. It is 2 bedroom and my bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Met by Kirsten on arrival even though arrival time was late in the evening. Warm & friendly welcome. Instructions for location were excellent. Quiet neighbourhood, central location. Walking distance to city centre, Flinders Station and South Bank . Apartment true to pictures and descriptions.

What a great stay we had at Honey Apartments. It is located right in the heart of Melbourne and what a great price for a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious, very clean and welcoming with everything we needed for our stay. Kirstin our host was very obliging and made our stay so easy. I would happily recommend this apartment to everyone.

Kirstin was the perfect host ensuring I had all I needed during my stay. Her apartment is the ideal place while staying in Melbourne, not only from a location point of view, but it is cosy and warm and a place I looked forward to returning home to at the end of the day. Kirstin was also very accommodating as I had a last minute change of dates which she supported me with and I thank her for that. I would recommend Kirstin and her place to anyone thinking of staying in Melbourne.

Kirstin was very friendly and helpful and met me even though I arrived at almost midnight. The flat was in a great location and had lots of books and DVDs. However, there were no toiletries at all in the shower, even though “Essentials” had been included in the Amenities section, and this meant I had to go out and find a supermarket in the morning before I could have a shower. Also, there were no cleaning products of any kind (eg Spray & Wipe) which was a bit annoying over a 10 day stay. Having stayed in Airbnb places throughout the US which were incredibly well supplied, it was surprising not having food staples or the things mentioned above, but maybe that’s how it goes in Oz, and from Kirstin’s reviews it’s clear people aren’t bothered by their absence. As I said, Kirstin herself could not have been more helpful, also agreeing to a late check-out to fit in with a late plane departure.

Regarding the "Essentials" this includes towels, bedsheets, soap and toilet paper which where all provided. I'm also sorry to hear that the cleaning products provided in the kitchen where no enough during your stay and I will take this advice onboard for future guests staying longer periods. It was lovely to meet you and it's nice that you appreciated the late check in and out times which I always endevour to accommodate for all my guests whenever possible. Cheers Kirstin

Kirstin was a fabulous hostess!!! She was very accommodating in every way to make our stay great! Her place is very comfortable and clean. It's in a great part of town. Very quiet at night and walking distance to everywhere in Melbourne. We loved it and would happily stay there again!!
