Helen and Denis were wonderful hosts and made great suggestions about what to do in the local area. The view of the sunset over the valley from their place was spectacular. The home was very cosy and had a very chilled out vibe. Perfect for a relaxing weekend in natural surroundings.

We had an amazing time with Helen and Dennis perched upon a stunning hill overlooking the amazing Indigo Valley. We witnessed beautiful sunsets over the valley, experienced the wonderful nearby towns of beechworth and it's delicious local cheeses and wines and had possibly the best big breakfast ever at yakandanda. The home was lovely, cosy and warm. We got all the information we could need to easily find our way. Helen and Dennis were such warm hosts, there for a chat occasionally but never too much. We don't usually stay in accommodation with others but truly enjoyed our stay with them, and the fabulous conversations in the corridor and around the dining table on our final eve. They are passionate about the local area, and it gave us a real feeling for it as well. A great spot and an even lovelier couple!

We enjoyed our stay at this scenic place and would love to come again. We enjoyed the conversation with the hosts. If you are after a tranquil place, don't miss this. So close to Beechworth. We saw a Kangaroo twice from their property. Watching the night sky with so many stars was an absolute delight.

Helen was a great host. Always prompt to reply to emails and friendly too! The place is lovely, the views from the verandah are stunning and it was an added bonus to see so many kangaroos around! The place is very homely and we felt very relaxed there.
