Penny's place was fantastic- in a really beautiful and peaceful location but close to the centre of Avoca and to all the surrounding areas of interest. The accommodation was great - plenty of space for 2, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. There is even a new outdoor area with a beautiful view, perfect for enjoying the breakfast provisions, and a great little firepit to sit around at night and enjoy a glass of the local wine whilst looking at the stars! Penny was a lovely host and even left us home made cookies and a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary - so kind! Thanks so much Penny - we will definitely be back!

Highly recommend staying at Penny's Place. An immaculate, inviting getaway with everything you could ask for and more! We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful and generous hosts that go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. My children adored the animals and are already talking about a return trip!

Penny seems lovely and her place is fabulous, we had a great stay. It is right next to their house but so private, it also has a lovely outlook over the paddock. Penny has gone to great lengths with the 'little touches' and it makes the stay extra good. Towels, bedding, toiletries etc were beautiful. And the breakfast left for us to prepare was very generous. The place itself was big enough to be very comfortable for the 3 of us and the kitchen really well equipped. The kids loved the farm animals and I liked the peacefulness of being on the edge of town. If we were back in the region I'd definitely stay again.

I am outgoing with a good sense of humour. Retired and loving the independence. I enjoy doing voluntary work, reading, cooking, gardening, photography and the arts. I also love going four wheel driving in the bush tracks with my husband.
We enjoy travelling and plan to do many more trips in the future. A second trip to New Zealand to tour the south Island is priority.
My life motto is to seize the day and enjoy every moment.
