Enjoy the combination of a relaxing modern space on a beautiful urban lavender farm with sweet farm animals, secret gardens, private golf course views, in an open airy studio that will make your stay here truly unforgettable. Urban Donkey Studio is attached to the main house, separated by a private atrium corridor. Note: Due to our working farm animals on site we cannot have any guests animals on the property.

The space
Our modern 700 square foot studio attached to the main house is an open concept with vaulted ceilings that keeps the feeling light and airy. The setting of our urban lavender will promote a relaxing atmosphere. The cuddly babydoll sheep and miniature donkeys are a bonus! They like to pose for social media.

Guest access
Our farm guests will enjoy their stay in our studio with access to the lavender field and gardens. The donkey enclosure area may ONLY be accessed when accompanied by Ramona. Please do not feed the donkeys or sheep as they are on a special diet for their health and safety.

Other things to note
Urban Donkey Studio does not include a full kitchen.

My husband John and I found this 2.5 acre gem after living 9 yrs in Portland’s Pearl District. After 12 yrs of work developing our urban lavender farm we are ready to welcome guests to stay here at Sunderland Acres. Our sweet farm crew, Jack & Emily (miniature donkeys) Fern & Clover (Holland Lop bunnies) Maggie (babydoll sheep) & Daisy (Suffolk lamb) and Jasper (our feral kitty), are all ready to make your stay a very memorable one.
