There are two very well stocked convenience stores, both with excellent delicatessens, a post office, doctor's surgery, chemist, cafes, take away outlets and tavern all within a few minutes drive from the Studio. There are also several restaurants within a short drive. The area is renowned for its safe swimming and nearby popular surfing beaches. The Tangara trail winds through the Acton corridor and offers some excellent walking opportunities.
The property is also close to the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, the Tasmanian Police Academy, the Royal Hobart Golf Course and several other popular golf courses. The Coal River wine region is nearby and offers an excellent choice of Tasmanian wines and the finest of dining.
Hobart's CBD is a 20-minute easy drive from the Studio and the Hobart International Airport is a 13-minute drive from the Studio.
