Calm and convenient location

Guests say this area is peaceful and it’s easy to get around.
Our beautiful cottage is in the heart of the historic town of Hawick. Spread over two floors the cottage is warm and welcoming but deceptively spacious. The sitting room has a feature fire for cosy nights in and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The courtyard is perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
A fantastic central base for exploring the many sights & activities around Hawick and the Borders region, ideal for walkers & cyclists.

The space
Located in the heart of Hawick, Teviot Cottage is an exciting new addition to Airbnb and has been extensively renovated to provide beautiful, modern accommodation for guests to enjoy

On the ground floor, you will discover the cosy sitting room with feature fire, ideal for family games night or relaxing in front of the tv after a fun filled day exploring all the area has to offer.

The contemporary fully equipped kitchen with dining table is ideal for family meals, a quick lunch or starting the day with a relaxed breakfast.

There is a ground floor cloakroom for convenience along with utility room for laundry.

Moving outside, the courtyard with table and chairs is a lovely spot to enjoy a bite to eat or evening tipple during warmer months (we get more sunshine in Scotland than you may think!)

For cycling enthusiasts Teviot Cottage is the perfect place to stay, there is a dedicated, secure stone outbuilding adjacent to the courtyard for bicycle storage with charging points for electric bikes.

Moving to the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with super comfortable king size bed and twin room, both are a good size with plenty of storage.

The main bathroom is light, bright and contemporary with great size walk in shower.

At Teviot Cottage you will be close to center of Hawick with high street shopping, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes walk, the location is peaceful yet very central.

Hawick features many walks and trails, as well as the much awarded Wilton Lodge Park within walking distance.

The cottage comes complete with private off road parking for up to 2 cars directly next to the property.

A maximum of 2 well behaved furry friends are welcome (please see Additional Rules section for details).

The location is ideal for exploring the town and surrounding area and is accessed up a short driveway off Teviot Crescent. The River Teviot is 50 meters away and there is a newly built children's play area and outdoor seating literally 2 minutes from the front door. Wilton Lodge Park is less than 10 minutes walk and accessible also on bicycle via the towns new Active Travel Network.
