The Point is a world class waterfront adults only retreat ( children older than 12 permitted ) sitting on 50 acres of rugged Tasmanian farming land just outside Hobart. The house is nestled thoughtfully into the hill overlooking Frederick Henry Bay. The surrounding landscape is raw and wild - dominated by dry Tasmanian grasses and large rock formations. Awaken to the ever-changing light while watching a glorious sunrise over the bay or at dusk watch the sun set behind Mount Wellington.

The Point and the land it sits on is exclusively yours to enjoy and explore - the house accommodates up to six adults, perfect for couples or as a romantic escape for two.

The Point is located twenty minutes from Hobart airport and twenty minutes from the centre of Hobart, close enough to enjoy the attractions of Hobart whilst having the feel of a remote escape. The Point is only a 5 minute drive from coffee shops, delis and bottle shops - and is located at the beginning of the South Arm Peninsula.

The house and location are breath-taking, with numerous indoor and outdoor spaces just waiting to be explored. The Coastal Track is directly accessible from the Point - giving guests the opportunity to walk along the oceans edge to both Cremorne and Lauderdale, or have a swim out the front in Fredrick Henry Bay, walk along the rugged coast line to beautiful secluded beaches and marvel at the beauty that is Tasmania.

The accommodation consists of three luxurious bedrooms each with phenomenal views over Frederick Henry Bay. The master suite at the end of the house has a king size bed and a huge open plan en-suite with a stunning black stone bath overlooking the view. Two additional bedrooms each with a luxurious queen bed and their own private en-suite. Each bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the grass paddocks and the view. Every room in the house have stunning views, including all bathrooms. Bathrooms have underfloor heating so are beautifully warm under-foot. Each bedroom has its own desk with dedicated USB outlet, perfect for those wishing to work remotely. Designer tapware, lights, custom joinery and hand-crafted tiles from Japan add to the luxury of the bedroom suites.

The Point has numerous indoor and outdoor areas to explore and enjoy. Two luxurious lounge areas both with breath-taking views. Outdoor fire-pit overlooking the view with oversized hand-sawn hardwood seating. Beautiful Tasmanian Bluestone outdoor hand crafted fireplace in the generous cobble-stoned courtyard. PLEASE NOTE: The Point is in a remote parcel of land .. with almost 270 degree views .. currently the neighbouring property who are over 500m away are building an architecturally designed home which may be seen in the distance and comprises less than approx. 2 degrees of a 270 degree view.
