A modern and comfortable townhouse located in leafy, peaceful Applecross and only a 5 minute drive from the Perth CBD.
Public transport access is right on the doorstep and walking distance to the local favourite "Applecross Village" cafe strip.
Hidden away down the end of a tree-lined driveway with a security gate entrance, the townhouse is private, spacious, secure and comfortable.
Downstairs there is a queen sized bed with its own private ensuite bathroom. Upstairs you will find a king sized bedroom with connecting access to the upstairs bathroom. Across the landing is a third bedroom with 2 king single beds - perfect if you are travelling with your children. All three bedrooms are very spacious and have built-in robes with ample hanging/storage space.
A portable cot is also available on request.
The downstairs bathroom has a shower and a vanity with a toilet in the adjacent powder room. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and bath with a separate connecting toilet. I will provide you with towels, hand-soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as a hairdryer.
Downstairs there is a 4 seater couch that is perfect for relaxing after a long day of sight-seeing. Enjoy the Australian free-to-air TV and also the DVD collection. The house has complimentary, high speed wifi internet available, as well as full ducted reverse cycle, air-conditioning throughout. Opening the doors to the alfresco also allows for excellent ventilation.
Upstairs there is another comfortable 3 seater couch, recommended for curling up with a good book. There is a small workspace perfect for a couple of laptops.
DINING & ALFRESCO
There is a dining table downstairs next to the kitchen with seating for 6. The alfresco area has an 8 seater dining table, with both tinted and mesh blinds fitted on either side which can be adjusted depending on the time of day and temperature. The alfresco is also the perfect place to read the newspaper and enjoy your coffee.
If you feel like a night in, the kitchen has everything you would need to cook your own meals. Frypans, pots, chopping boards, crockery and cutlery are all provided. There is also a toaster, sandwich press and tea & coffee making facilities.
The separate laundry space just off the kitchen houses a washer, dryer and large laundry sink if you need to do any hand washing. A sliding door to the rear garden provides access to an outdoor washing line. An indoor washing line is also available for rainy days :)
The townhouse has space for 2 cars in the remote controlled garage. There is direct access to the house from the garage through a connecting shoppers entry - no need to get caught in the rain!

I always like to meet my guests whenever possible, show you around the house and answer any questions you may have.
If you arrive at a time when I am unable to greet you, I will ensure the keys are at the property on arrival and check in with you later to make sure you have settled.
I will respect your privacy throughout your stay, but I am always contactable via email and mobile right from your first enquiry, all the way through to the end of your stay if you ever need any assistance.

Applecross is located in the centre of the Perth metro area - making it a highly sought after location by "Perthians". While only a 5 minute drive into the city, Applecross maintains a lower density living environment that makes it a peaceful and relaxing suburb, away from the busyness of the CBD. In springtime, Applecross is covered in a blanket of purple, as its famous Jacaranda trees come out in full bloom!
The Swan River is only a 5 minute walk from the townhouse where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of Perth city and is edged by great walking/cycling paths. The nearby Heathcote Reserve, with its historic buildings, museum and gallery, is an excellent place to explore. It's ship-inspired playground is also great if you have kids.
The townhouse is a comfortable walk to the heritage-listed art-deco Raffles Hotel. Recently renovated, the hotel has views of the Swan River and Perth City and is a great place to have a drink or meal. You are also close to the "Applecross Village" where you will find popular local cafes, a gourmet supermarket and boutique shops. Along Canning Hwy you will find a 24hr supermarket and other great bars and restaurants.
The town of Fremantle (Voted the "Top Tourist Town" by Lonely Planet for 2016) is only a 15min car ride away, straight down Canning Hwy. A harbour-side town, Fremantle boasts live-music, bars, cafes/restaurants, markets, craft-beer breweries and more - definitely worth a visit!
You are also only a 15min car ride away from some of Perth's best beaches - Just head straight down Canning Hwy towards the west you will find Bathers Beach, Port Beach, then Leighton Beach and a bit further along, Cottesloe Beach. There are great cafes and restaurants alongside all these beaches to enjoy before and/or after your dip in the ocean!
The townhouse is only a 50 metre walk to a major bus route that can take you directly into the Perth CBD or west to Fremantle and WA's beautiful beaches. You are also within easy walking distance to the Canning Bridge Train Station, here you can catch the Mandurah Line directly into the CBD without any stops on the way. This line takes you south to the coastal holiday resort of Mandurah and north to the satellite city of Joondalup.
While the access to public transport from the accommodation is second to none, if you wish to venture further and make some day trips from Perth, I highly recommend you take advantage of the secure off-street parking and hire a car.

I ask that you please keep your noise levels to a minimum and please NO SMOKING, no pets and strictly no parties in the property.
Parking is not allowed in the common driveway as it prevents access for the neighbours to their properties - you must only park in the garage. (NOTE: if you park on the street between 8am-6pm on weekdays you may get a parking fine).
Any damage, please let me know so our next guest is not inconvenienced in any way. Note that the cost of repayment/repair may be deducted from your security bond.
On departure, we ask that you please place all rubbish in the bins provided, clean up any mess, turn off the lights and heating/aircon, lock all the doors and return all items to their original position.

I have been using Airbnb since 2010 and it has allowed me to stay is some great accommodation in New Zealand and all the way over to Prague and Copenhagen. It has also allowed me to meet some wonderful Airbnb Hosts, whose generous hospitality style has inspired the way I treat my guests, so they can hopefully enjoy their holiday as much as I was allowed to enjoy mine.
I like to meet all my guests in person to make sure they are comfortable and help answer any questions they may have about the accommodation and/or city.
