The space
OUR GOAL — With the ultimate aim of creating the perfect getaway for our guests, we have carefully curated every inch of the property, transforming it from its industrial beginnings into a luxe destination — a place to celebrate special occasions or simply relax and rejuvenate. Your every wish has been considered, from the view from the deep slouch couch to those little extra treats just for you.
LOCATION - Set only 200 meters stroll to the Merri River and within the township of Warrnambool, the property is close to all this wonderful area has to offer, a short drive to the beach and a shorter one or a good walk to the town centre.
FRONT YARD - The highlight of your stay is to sit by the fire while watching the open-air theatre. On your second night, soak in the two old-world cast-iron claw-foot baths at sunset and watch the landscape change with the setting of the sun.
LIVING - The main living room has a seriously comfortable couch for watching a romantic romcom or the sport of your choice. If you would prefer, cosy up with a blanket with some of The Landing's coffee table books.
KITCHEN - A beautifully appointed kitchenette with two hotplates, an air fryer, a dishwasher drawer, a small fridge and curated accessories. If coffee is your thing, Nescafé pod machine or sachet coffee is supplied with fresh milk. Help yourself to a biscuit if you wish.
Basics include a range of Teas, Coffee pods and sachets, fresh milk, sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
DINING AREA - Sit around a rustic timber table for two with a view.
BEDROOM - Be greeted by a dreamy king-size bed with quality linen sheets and relaxing views, and if you wish, a stunning sunrise to wake up to.
ENSUITE - Soak in a large stone bath in a stylish bathroom that is open to the master bedroom. When you step out of the double shower, enjoy the warmth provided by underfloor heating.
PROPERTY - The Landing has direct access and a short walk to the Merri River. An excellent place to sit and watch the local bird life with a beverage.
Guest access
After walking through the front gate the property is yours to enjoy. Set within an industrial shed which once had a life as a helicopter hanger and service area now the space contains a styled interior and a semi private garden set away from neighbours with views of a flood plain.
Take the stairs at the front of the garden which leads down to the river frontage, wander along to the east and you will find a beautiful heritage bridge.
Other things to note
PRIVACY - The Landing has direct access and views to the river flats by the Merri River and to ensure these vistas are uninterrupted your stay has a partially unfenced yard. The property is set well away from neighbours.
PETS - Please kindly note that due to the lack of fencing and delicate furnishings we are not suitable for pets.
CHILDREN - The lack of fencing, retaining wall and the proximity to the river makes the property not suitable for children.
KITCHEN SUPPLIES - We stock basic supplies, including a small fresh Milk, Nespresso Pod Machine and selection of pods, instant Coffee, selection of Teas, Salt, Pepper, Sugar and Salt.
