We are excited to welcome you to The Fisherman’s Shack! This rustic coastal hideaway offers comfort and stunning natural views.
We have thoughtfully designed this space to be the perfect base for up to 4 people to enjoy exploring the Tasman Peninsula - Perfect for couples, friends or small families.

*please note: there is a very steep staircase to the upstairs bedrooms*

The space
Part of a larger property, this private space has been created to ensure you feel right at home. The sun-drenched unit features a full kitchen, living room with smart TV and 2.5 cosy bedrooms that look out to the serene Tasman Peninsula landscape. Your space is heated and cooled by a reverse cycle air conditioner, perfect for all year round comfort. Enjoy your morning coffee with a view, or unwind after a day of exploring nearby beaches, bushwalks or fishing with Mr Flathead Fishing Charters!

Our entire property consists of 2 units. We live in the other unit, so are readily able to assist wherever needed. Hamish runs local fishing charter ‘Mr Flathead’ and Olivia is a Chef.
Please contact us if you are interested a day out on the boat with Hamish, experiencing the best of Tassie fishing and the finest Tasmanian seafood!

We can organise clothes washing for stays longer than 2 nights.

Eaglehawk Neck is home to the Tessellated Pavement and Devils Kitchen, beautiful beaches, world class surfing, diving, fishing and hiking trails, and is just a short drive to the World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site. We hope you enjoy staying in this beautiful area as much as we do!

Guest access
As you enter the driveway, your unit is on the left. Follow the road around to park your car in the designated 'guest' space. Enter via the stone steps next to the large banksia tree. Sliding door for entry from your courtyard area.

Other things to note
*There is a very steep staircase to the bedrooms above, please ensure your entire group will be comfortable with this before booking* - may be challenging or unsafe for very young children or elderly.

We are experienced travellers who have transformed our big old house into 2 separate, self-contained units to share the experience of stays with you in this special part of the world.
