Ocean and beach views

Guests say the views are lovely.
Relax in the comfortable space crafted by the talented South Australian interior designer, Sarah Hall or head out and explore the remarkable natural wonders of the Eyre Peninsula.

The Harvesters Moon is located in the Western Eyre Peninsula town of Perlubie, conveniently located 20 minutes from the bustling surf town of Streaky Bay.

This unique eco home is perched on the edge of the earth with views of the Southern Ocean. Enjoy stunning sunsets, expansive silence and walks to the beach

The space
The Harvesters Moon is a comfortable South Australian coastal shack located in Perlubie, where you are assured a peaceful holiday.

Perlubie Beach has long been a hidden and isolated coastal treasure. With its stretch of pristine white sands and inviting turquoise waters it is no surprise that is one of the most beautiful beaches on the South Australian Coastline.

Often the beach will be all yours alone to explore with blue swimmer crabs and squid easily caught from the shore. Enjoy collecting shells, watching the sunset over the ocean under the thatch beach shelters or you can bring your own stand up paddle board and explore the protected waters of the beach and the surrounding headlands.

The Harvesters Moon has been lovingly curated for our family and friends to enjoy and we hope to offer the same comfort to any other guests that stay. We comfortably sleep up to 4 adults with the two bedrooms located on either end of the house, the bedrooms are furnished with queen beds with beautiful French flax linen sheets.

This property has one bathroom with shower facilities (including Bondi Wash shower products) as well as a gorgeous hot water outdoor shower.

Relax in our gorgeous music room where you can recline on our comfy pink couch, listening to our vinyl (or yours) while enjoying the view to the Southern Ocean.

In colder months start a fire in our outdoor fire pit or cosy up with your favourite human in front of the fireplace. The Harvesters Moon also has air conditioning for heating or cooling.

The property has all the luxuries you need - a beautifully cute kitchen with a stove top (no oven), microwave, sandwich press, fridge, water filter tap. We provide some of the staples such as olive oil, sugar, salt pepper and some spices. Coffee (plunger or stove top), tea making available. Other supplies can be arranged with notice.

Guest access
Free parking, can fit a boat trailer. Property fitted with a key box. Access code will be provided.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire property

Other things to note
The Harvesters Moon is a remotely located, off-grid property. All supplies must be bought with you prior to your stay. We do supply tea, coffee, long life milk, hot chocolate sachets, Cooking oil, salt & pepper.

The Harvesters Moon is completely off grid, which means it is solar powered, relies on tank water and has a septic system. Air conditioning is run off the solar so it can be unreliable through the evening, ceiling fans and upright fans available. We are on the coast so often there is a nice (and sometimes strong!) breeze that comes through in the evening.

The use of large electrical products and charging EV vehicles is not permitted (it will result in loss of power at the property).

All our water is stored in water tanks. Please respectfully use water during your stay. Any excess water usage may result in an extra charge.

This property has a septic sewerage system. This means that no products can be flushed down the toilet (other than toilet paper) as it may cause a blockage and totally ruin your stay! Also note that a service charge may be passed onto the guest.
