Mac and Sylvia's Apartment 30 has been carefully curated with love. When you arrive you will feel as if you are visiting with a long-lost friend who embraces you with warmth and the biggest of hugs. Located in the very heart of Launceston, Tasmania you simply have the city at your fingertips and everything you wish to visit within walking distance.

The space
Mac and Sylvia's Apartment 30 is located in City Park Living Apartments directly opposite City Park in central Launceston.

Unwind in the inviting ambiance of our beautifully furnished studio for two. Featuring a luxurious king-size bed adorned with soft, dreamy linens, the space promises a peaceful night’s sleep after a day of exploring Launceston and its surrounds.

The cosy sitting area offers the perfect spot to unwind with a good book or stream your favorite shows on the Samsung Smart TV. After an evening out at one of the many nearby restaurants, sink into a leisurely soak in the bath accompanied by locally sourced aromatic bath salts for a moment of pure indulgence. Should you prefer, a separate walk-in-shower is also available for your comfort.

In addition to a bar fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, Smeg coffee machine, crockery, cutlery, glassware, French press, and teapot, we've provided a Nutri Bullet so you can easily whip up your morning smoothie.

Restaurants, coffee shops, the Harvest Market, art galleries, shopping, and theatres are all within easy walking distance. We’re also just a stone’s throw from the University of Tasmania campus and a short walk over the bridge to the York Park precinct, home to UTAS stadium.

In the other direction, a quick stroll will bring you to the Launceston Leisure & Aquatic Centre. The famous Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre a central hub for performing arts in Northern Tasmania, showcasing a variety of theatre and dance, is a gentle 10 minute walk away.

And don’t miss the Cataract Gorge, it’s a relaxing 30-minute walk from the studio, with a slight incline into the gorge, but the breathtaking views make it well worth the effort.

Launceston was settled in 1806 and is one of Australia’s oldest cities, when visiting we encourage you to wander and look up often as you will see amazing architectural details in so many of the beautifully preserved buildings the rich history of the city definitely shines through. Launceston also has beautiful green spaces and is home to the Cataract gorge an amazingly natural gorge within the city boundary.
