Welcome!

Accommodation: Queen sized bed in the Salt Lake City Downtown Neighborhood--right in the middle of all that's weird and wonderful about Salt Lake City. We can also add an additional twin bed with advance notice.

Your bed is in the Forest Room, on the main level of the main house. There are 2 bathrooms and kitchen(shared). We have a large garden, sun-room and patio complete with fire-pit and grill as well as indoor commons area. We invite you to hang out anywhere and as much as you like.

Come enjoy Salt Lake City, a cornucopia of funky and independent shops, galleries, bars, breweries & restaurants, as well as large scale shopping centers and grocers.

Breweries: Epic, Uinta, Wasatch, Squatters, Deserts Edge, Red Rock, Proper, Fishers

Restaurants: Chanon Thai, Settebello

Coffee Shops & Bakeries: Tea Grotto, Coffee Garden, Beans & Brews, Publik. Caffe d'bolla, Blue Copper, Banbury Cross Donuts, Tulie

Theatres & Venues: Broadway Theatre, Eccles, Urban Lounge, Capitol Theater.

We have frequent block sized art gallery strolls. Check to see if there's one during your stay. Downtown Farmer's Market & Liberty Park Farmers Markets occur on the regular from June until October. You'll see washboard bands, teen violinists, bicycle pianos, Native American drumming circles, fab art & funky attire all within walking distance of our front door.

Portions of the Urban farm are dedicated to well... farming. Feel free to check out our quirky birds and see what the garden is growing.

Also, we are pet friendly! We have 2 cats.

We are on several major bus lines and one block from a designated city bike share route. By car we are 10-15 minutes from the airport, City Creek Mall, Temple Square and the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Feel free to stay as long as you like...we want our home to feel like home to you while you're here!

Guests should expect fresh linens and towels, complimentary coffee, fresh free-range organic eggs, complimentary & Wifi.

This is the feel we are going for and these are the types of guests we hope to attract. If you are going to be rude or critical of our home then please book at a hotel. If you need an additional twin bed let me know a week prior to your arrival and I can put it in the room

Great location to downtown, tidy room, friendly cats, easy access with lock code made us feel comfortable coming and going as we pleased. Only issue was no lock on upstairs bathroom where guests were to shower. Overall, perfect, quite room for your downtown stay. Thanks!

Extremely detailed and easy to follow welcome-email. Self check in was great and smooth. Brent was out of town during our stay, no one showed us around. Even if it's a communal home, we didn't want to be snooping about looking for a bathroom. We only needed it early morning (7.30…

The room: The room is exactly as it looks and super comfortable. All of the linen provided was clean and Bertha, one of the cats, liked to hang out there. Unfortunately I was unable to steal her, so you should be able to see her on your visit ;) The house: It feels like a sha…

Brent's place is fine for the price - easy to get into town from and old but fairly clean. Bed was comfy, but found the fact that the bedroom had a sliding door onto the living room (that didn't close fully) a little unusual. My one negative observation is that most of the time …

While I never got to meet Brent, his other housemate was there and lots of different people coming and going. This is a great thing, and I had many interesting chats. It's a bit like a mini hostel, but with the awesomeness of having your own room. The forest room was lovely, s…
