The space
The Treehouse is ideal as a retreat for singles, couples, and small groups of friends. The property is pet-friendly, and you can talk to me about your pooch-dog-pet staying.

The Treehouse is enveloped in a wrap-around timber deck, looking out over the trees and out to sea. The lounge, dining, and kitchen are surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows facing north and north-east, ensuring that no matter the season, you will be blessed with sun and light all day long and a fabulous sky filled with stars at night.

The Treehouse has three light-filled bedrooms, all with queen-sized beds, and beautiful linens (think Bed Threads, Sage x Clare, Society of Wanderers), cozy doonas, and plenty of extra blankets. There is no scratchy linen service here. I want to hear you had the best sleep of your life.

The bathroom boasts a waterfall shower, complimentary toiletries, luxurious bath sheets, and face washers.

There are outdoor spaces to suit plenty of activities. The deck is perfect for a morning coffee and happy hour drinks while dinner is being prepared on the BBQ nearby. There is a secluded front lawn, protected by rockery and trees, that screams picnic, and a sizeable lower deck perfect for a fire pit, glasses of wine, cups of tea, and the toasting of marshmallows.

The Treehouse is more than a house in the great town of Merimbula. She is filled to the brim with love and personality. Enjoy her serenity, the stunning view, original 1970s pieces (I’m obsessed), and the fabulous space, as a place to sleep in, cook, eat, and read, or as a base whilst you explore the surrounding towns, coastline and all that they have to offer.

Guest access
The property is accessible via the front drive. Guests will enter via the gate on the left hand side of the deck.

The property is completely yours.

Gatherings or parties of any kind are restricted unless agreed by prior arrangement with us.

Elopements and intimate weddings are possible. Please contact us directly to discuss.

Other things to note
We stock basic pantry supplies, including ground coffee, a selection of teas, local honey, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, sea salt flakes and pepper, and our favourite herbs and spices.

The Treehouse is conveniently located 5 mins out of town, where you can pick up general and specialist local supplies. There are also excellent restaurants nearby. We'll give you a list of our favourites as your booking approaches.

It's not uncommon to see a lot of bird life, wallabies, echidnas and wombats wandering around the property. Give them space, and please do not feed them. If you come across any sick or injured wildlife, please contact Merimbula Vet.

Our indoor and outdoor fireplaces are for the use of guests, and we ask that our guests please make themselves familiar with the safety guidelines and tune in to local fire bans, particularly through the summer months.

We have an external camera on the property. It's a condition of our insurance, and is in place to protect us all and the property.
