This well established and extremely roomy villa is elegant, quite magnificent and has beautiful gardens. It was perfect for our group of 8, 5 adults and 3 kids with heaps of beds and room to spread out. Everything was very cosy and comfortable. Kitchen is small but has everything you need and the washing machine was a blessing. Easy access to beautiful Padova if you have a car and only 40mins (26min on the train) from AMAZING Venice.

Michele's home is very special and we feel lucky to have found such a gem a short train ride from Venice. The historical rooms are decorated beautifully and are very spacious. Whilst respecting the age of the house, it was very easy to feel at home here. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the bathrooms are big with plenty of hot water, there's a dish washer and clothes washer, the beds are very comfortable and all the linens smell lovely. It was easy to get a taxi to the train station (about 15 euros one way) for a day trip to Venice (about 4 euros one way). Unfortunately our trip was too short to explore padova, but everything you need (pharmacy, bakery, cafe, deli and pizza takeaway) is only a short walk from the house. We are so grateful to have been warmly welcomed by the family and to have had Michele on hand when we had to make an unexpected trip to the hospital late one night; he is a very kind and helpful host. Thanks again!

Michele and his family are wonderful hosts and their villa is a great place to stay in the Venice/Padua area. Our family of 9 comfortably stayed with Michele as we explored Venice (about 25 min drive) and Padua (about 10/15 min drive). The villa itself is a gem - an 18th century villa in the process of restoration. Nowhere else can you find a place with original artwork and furniture so close to Venice. In the words of my mom "It felt like we were walking through a roped off museum, but this time we got to stay beyond the ropes!" There are restaurants and cafes close by within walking distance of the villa which were fantastic too. If you are looking for a great place within driving distance of all the sights in Veneto, look no further. Michele and his family will make sure you have an excellent vacation!

Michele is one of the kindest hosts we had during our entire stay in Europe. His English is great, so we had no communication problems. On Sunday he personally drove us to the train station because the buses don't run on Sundays in padova. Seriously, Michele was such a great host. Thank you again Michele. Now for the house. It is huge! The house was clean and had all the essentials! We didn't even have to buy toilet paper because there were enough rolls for all of us. The bus stop can be seen from the house window. The backyard is beautiful. The house is walking distance to a supermarket and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Venice, Verona, and other major cities were just an easy train ride away. We loved every part of our experience. Thank you Michele for making our stay comfortable and easy.

We loved our stay. Michele was an amazing host, very accommodating of our late arrival. Having a parking area was a great plus. Spacious beautiful palatial accommodations was a great way to end our vacation.

We loved staying at this little gem outside of Venice! Michele was a fantastic host, and the opportunity to stay in such an amazing piece of history was such a treat! The location was perfect--an easy train ride to Venice or short trip to Verona and wineries. After battling the crowds in Venice, it was a treat to return to this gorgeous villa and ponder the original arwork while enjoying a glass of Valpolicella! Within walking distance is a nice grocery store, several cafès and bakeries, and a great shop with freshly made pastas. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone, and hope to return soon!

This is a genuine 18th century villa. You do see the traces of time, and you can appreciate the history and live in it. Michele is very helpful and patient the whole time. We had a wonderful stay.
