We are sincerely surprised and disheartened to learn that your stay with us was a disappointment. Honestly, this is the first negative review we have ever received since we joined AirBnB over 6 years (and 100+ guests) ago.
We take great pride in creating a clean, beautiful and welcoming experience for our guests. In fact, our studio was custom designed to be a modern and creative use of space, one in which every detail was carefully considered, including the concrete floor, large picture window and nano wall, the modern kitchen and Japanese style bathroom room. Usually, our guests are drawn to our space for these features. To hear that some were the source of your unhappiness suggests that this was an unfortunate mismatch.
Design aesthetics aside, our intention is to offer our guests genuine and personalized hospitality. We want our guests (whether in the studio or staying in our home while we are away) to feel like welcomed friends. We take feedback very seriously, personally and to heart We will continue our efforts to set expectations up front and to better anticipate the possible needs of all our guests.
We were disappointed to hear of your grievances, for the first time here in this public forum, rather than while you were staying with us and we still had an opportunity to improve the quality of your experience. Should you continue to use Airbnb, please consider communicating with your hosts during your stay about any requests or concerns. An open dialogue and culture of trust is what makes Airbnb and the members of its community so special.
