Nostalgic schoolhouse close to the beach and mountains

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The cabin is located on Åmøy in Meløy municipality in a cozy village, Åmnes. Nearby there are several attractive sights, such as Svartisen, Corbels canyon in Lacho National Park, Bolga, Rødøy, etc. Search for "visit Meløy", "Meløy adventure", "Bolga brygge" for info. The cabin is located approx. 200 m from "Åmnes gård" where you can buy farm products and meet the animals. Child-friendly with nature as a playground. Nice hiking areas and fishing opportunities nearby. Here you can enjoy the midnight sun, the sea and mountains.

Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent. The cabin is located close to tourist information in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Cottage with 2 beds. Bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen solution with stove, refrigerator, dining table, sofa set, wireless internet and TV. Terrace with seating area and great views. A short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

Comfortable, well-kept cabin with sea views

The cabin was completed in 2015 and has a large veranda with a fantastic view. It offers a high standard indoors and outdoors, with outdoor furniture from 2022, a new stovetop/oven from 2023, and a washing machine and flat-screen TV from 2024. Since autumn 2025, a new house has been built on the hill next door. Parties are not permitted. The cabin was built by my dad and my husband and is frequently used by us. We love this place and hope you will too.

The apartment is located 9 km from the municipal center Ørnes, and it is 11 km to the industrial site Glomfjord. We offer a patio with a fire pit and a large garden to frolic in.

Fully, but simple equipped apartment. Beautiful seaside location with an old private dock, perfect for fishing. Easy daily access by public boats.
