Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Relax in the main cabin, soak in the 2-person hot tub (if available) ,or take a romantic stroll through the wooded trails. Decks, trails, and boathouse access are included.

Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. River Run is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest, conveniently just 4 miles off I-75, exit 49. This newer river home provides tranquil views of the river, while enjoying nature from the back deck. "Wildcat Adventures Off Road Park" is located approx 5 1/2 miles away, we welcome ATV riders! Nature hiking trails, Kayak rentals, and river access is also located nearby. The property is fenced in, and has ample parking for trailers with SXS's. Security night light near the parking area.

Primitive Daniel Boone Off-grid Cabin

Enjoy the spectacular view from the front porch of this rustic, off-grid cabin. You will have lots of room to roam. The sunrises and night skies are amazing at this cabin! Being a rustic cabin, there is no kitchen but a charcoal grill is provided as well as a fire pit. There is a portable toilet and an outdoor cold water shower close to the cabin. Feel free to bring a generator if you would like electricity.
