Holiday rentals with a fireplace in River Dyfi

A wonderfully quiet place - with lots of garden birdsong. The garden was perfect for sun or shade and great for the dog. The farmhouse was welcoming and cool after a hot day in the sun or car. An open fire option or heating warmed everything up to what was just right. Remember the low doorway thresholds upstairs - I forgot a few times! All told, a great place to relax at, walk a few quiet lanes or a short 10+ minutes drive to nearby places. An attentive and friendly host in Jennifer (&Keith)

We absolutely loved Deborah's place felt right at home when we walked in. There is everything you need from day one. The local area is lovely for walks and the beach is across the road. Even when it was wet and windy it was a pleasure to sit upstairs and watch the sea. You are easy reach into Snowdonia by car?, Zip world( definitely have a go) and even easier for a trip to Caernarfon. Deborah's recommendations for eating out are spot on especially the BRAF cafe next door, lovely home made breakfast with plenty of choice and amount. Looking forward to coming back. Centrally located to easily explore anywhere from north of Aberystwyth to south of Cardigan. High quality accommodation and a generous size for 2 people. The attention to detail and the personal touches make it stand out. Good eating options within walking distance and plenty in the nearby and vibrant village of Aberaeron.

We were two families and enjoyed bank holiday weekend break in here. The place is beautiful and peaceful and has very good views and privacy. Inside the cottage and interior beautiful and has lovely cottage charm to it. It has all you need to feel home away from home. Host is helpful, friendly and responsive. Thank you

An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

Such a beautiful location and close to snowdon if you have plans to climb! The views from the hot tub were gorgeous especially at sunset! The house is well set up provided with everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

Paul and Alex have created a beautiful, character-filled space that really celebrates the building’s original features. The house was warm and cosy throughout – we didn’t even need to use the lovely log burner, though it added a great touch. High ceilings made it extra comfortable for me (being well over 6ft). The location is spot on, with a charming pub and breakfast spot right on the doorstep. If you’re after peaceful evenings, scenic walks, and a proper escape, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be back!

this is our second time staying here and we will absolutely stay again. beautiful house, very clean, comfy beds and perfect location in Dolgellau. hosts are si lovely and even gave us milk, a bottle of wine and delicious cookies. Would highly recommend 👌

Had a lovely stay at Broc Mor, a short walk to the beach, nice restaurant on the door step, everything was brilliant, will definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property is in a prime location - close to key attractions and all the necessary amenities, which made our trip super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Our kids absolutely loved staying and playing here! The host, Sandra, was extremely helpful, kind, and very responsive throughout our stay. We felt well taken care of and truly appreciated her support. We’re very thankful for the experience and would definitely love to come back for our next holiday. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Loved our stay. Perfect location in Llanberis, close to the start of the Snowdown trail. The accommodation is spacious and perfect for 4 people. Two large bedrooms and good living space. I really loved the small touches for making children welcome too (we had a 19 month old with us), which included plastic kitchenware, toys, travel cot but with an extra mattress and a small highchair. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

Finding a wonderful home away from the hustle and bustle of life was the aim of our weekend away and Hafod Cae Maen was perfect! The accommodation slept 8 adults with ease (and luxury) and gave plenty of space for dinner around the table, games in the garden, and relaxing in the evening. The central heating kept the house lovely and warm and the log fires were a great background when it was time to enjoy an evening glass of wine. Plenty of fridge space and a well equipped kitchen meant that cooking as a group was a pleasure. Many thanks to Paul and Claire for their helpful communications regarding attractions in the area and thoughtful welcome hamper, a really lovely touch.

Great location and just a short walk from the beach which offered some amazing sunsets. Nearest shop was only a short drive away and the house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would recommend taking some fly spray if you plan to leave the windows open.

As a family who have 2 young boys will ALN, this place is ideal, they had the space and freedom to just play and run around. The children's play area was ideal. Shame the trampoline was taken away through!! However if you want a chilled place to stay this is the place.
