Hut holiday rentals in River Dee

Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

It was a lovely stay. Very warm and welcoming. We wished we had stayed for longer. The area was beautiful and a great place to be in the countryside

We just wanted to rest and relax away with the dog, and this place was perfect. Was quiet, easy to find but tucked away (close enough to the town and amenities). The hot tub was toasty and I feel so calm and relaxed (even though the weather sucked). Great find and highly recommend. Great little get away! 10/10 recommend and would 100% go back.

Menna was great, always happy to heat the hot tub up for us! The little sleeping pods were comfortable with a really nice bed! And the location was brilliant, not too far from Snowdon which has the most amazing view! We had a fantastic time.

We had a wonderful stay at this glamping site nestled between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed—such a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for a relaxing break in North Wales. Rachel, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially as we arrived later than expected after a long journey. She kindly allowed us to check in late, and to our delight, the wood-fired hot tub at our Shepherd’s Hut was already heated and ready for us—just what we needed to unwind. The Shepherd’s Hut itself was lovely—cozy, clean, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we loved waking up to the views and birdsong. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with thoughtful touches and a warm welcome. Thank you, Rachel—we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve just got back from a lovely weekend away with my boyfriend and daughter for my boyfriends birthday , our cabin was so beautiful and was just perfect for the 3 of us , rachael and alan i think his name is was so helpful and accomodated everything that we needed , the breakfast we got there was also amazing , we deffo will be going back and i really recommend to anyone who’s looking to stay somewhere , it’s also dog friendly , we didn’t take a dog but seen other people had theirs which was really lovely to see , thankyou again .

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hut was lovely and warm, with everything you need. The area was beautiful, with donkeys, horses and the lovely farm dog who came to visit us a few times. We felt very safe staying here. We were only a couple minutes drive from Conwy but it was also an easy 20 minute walk into the town. As well, it was a great location for hiking/ walking. With some beautiful trails only a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you😊

what a brilliant set up this is, if off grid camping is what you want then you need to try here, this place is in a stunning location with all the basics for camping, you really get the woodland camping experience, nothing to flashy but all the comforts you need to have a great time, any issues and joe responds within minutes and is likely to have you back up and running within the hour. could not recommend this place enough for anyone that is looking for (wild camp) experience with a twist i will definatly return in the future

Just home from a lovely 2 day stay. The hut was lovely and clean and had everything we needed inside. Surroundings were beautiful, amazing views and it was so peaceful. Host was really helpful with the hot tub and bbq and suggested a lovely dog friendly pub for Sunday dinner. Perfect little getaway. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place ..David and his wife were so helpful Shepard’s Hut was spotless Gorgeous area set in farmland nearest pub 2 miles away serving fab food will definitely be returning We were surrounded by sheep horses & cows Hut gated off so dog could run in & freely

What a fabulous break we had! We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in beautifully peaceful surroundings, which were exactly as the photographs depicted! Holly and her daughter were very welcoming, and communication was practically instant during our booking confirmation, even down to making sure our hot tub was ready and waiting for immediate use. This was for a small extra charge, but very much appreciated. We will definitely be back to visit again!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Steve’s place was very cosy, ideal for a 1 night stay with warm weather as you choose this place for the outside accommodations (the fire pit and hammock, with the lounge shed being a good addition.) There is nowhere you can cook unless you bring a BBQ or use the microwave and the fridge is small but practical. Steve’s service is unmatched, he left balloons for my girlfriend since it was her birthday, gave plenty of options for restaurants in the area, left loads of firewood which kept us going for a few hours. The place was very clean too to bottom and the layout was well thought out. The walls are well insulated so you won’t be cold. Also, the sheep are friendly.

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Everything about Jessica Hut is perfect for a true, unadulterated dose of nature and relaxation. The hut is super cosy with a comfy bed, and the out-building with toilet and kitchen has all you need. The privacy and peace that comes with this destination is second to none. If it's a down to earth, friendly, private, comfortable, rural escape you are after, look no further. you have to love outside living, which we do, it's so cute and quirky, lovely Friendly reception of penny when we arrived, beautiful views, fresh flowers and home baked cake awaited us on the table, lovely cob loaf too, so many little things we didn't need to bring as we're all there on the lovely Welsh dresser, amazing break something different, dogs happy too 😊

We absolutely loved our one night stay at the Shepherd's hut. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the immediate surroundings as we were right next to a little paddock and play area, with the canal nearby. The interior of the hut also exceeded expectations with gorgeous little details such as homemade jam, lovely hand soap, kids books and other things. The quality of the accommodation was high, comfy beds, great cooking facilities and nice lighting. I have already recommended this place to family and friends.

Very happy with the stay, all the necessities were already there which meant less stuff we needed to bring. Showers and toilets were nice and clean. I wish we could stay longer. Everything was well explained in the emails and guides. Beautiful surroundings and over all great spot.

Aly’s hut is just a dream. Absolutely beautiful surroundings, I went for a little peaceful weekend alone and it was just perfect. I sat on the bench watching the mist move through the valley below, walked to the stream in the forest and read my books. The hut is so cosy and welcoming and I felt completely comfortable and safe. I will definitely be back as soon as I am able to. Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful stay.

Kelly’s Place was super clean, tidy and really well kept. The hut had everything you needed from fully functioning kitchen and bathroom to heating (even heated flooring!) would definitely stay here again as it was private with our own patio and garden area with seating. Perfect for someone who likes walking, we tended to drive into Llandudno town but the option to walk was easy and straight forward too! Kelly was always available and quick replies made it easy to get into contact with them! Thank you Kelly!!

Such an amazing shepherd’s hut to getaway for the weekend. Nicki and Richard have been amazing hosts, very friendly and responsive. They have kept the huts in great condition, everything is as listed. Would definitely recommend !
