A peaceful and comfortable place. The ac was such a relief from the 90+ temps outside, which made sleeping so comfortable. The first night there was a power outage. We since learned this is very unusual for more than a a couple minutes. But maybe pack a little battery fan just in case. So far it's our favorite spot to stay in Guasacate. Very spacious, peaceful, and secluded.. The stars were beautiful. Ian and Sydney answered any questions we had promptly. 5 stars!

I loved this home! Everything was so open & close to the beach! Sebastian made getting around easy & helped whenever we needed.

We stayed in the house next to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a good size and well lit. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere. I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate your stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

We loved CasAnica, it was in a great location, close to both beaches and a regular shuttle also was available to get us into San Juan Del Sur when we needed. Tony was also a great and accommodating host. We hope to come back to Nicaragua and stay again!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place!! The home is beyond beautiful and we enjoyed having two floors and access to anything we needed. The location is the shortest walk to the beach with gorgeous views and surf lessons in close proximity. We would stay here again!!

The house is beautiful, spacious and great for family events. Every room has a private shower and restrooms. My family was so happy with the house. 3 minutes walking distance from the beach and 6 minutes walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. We are definitely coming back to this house. Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super attentive. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and a little more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an amazing experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially those who surf, in view of the two “world class” waves located inside the condominium).

Beautiful place and at walkable distance to the beach. It was pretty close to different attractions nearby. Jose, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely stay again when visiting Nicaragua.

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! Uri was a huge help, great manager. Always got us what we needed then and there. Juan Pablo was great as well, always answered any questions immediately and made our stay super easy. Nice kitchen and everything you need for a long term stay. Walking distance to the beach, both grocery stores and Dog Town. Already planning our next trip back!

The place is very pretty and the host very responsive. She provided an accommodation for the heat. The only downfall was that the water pressure in the showers was at a minimum which made it inconvenient for the amount of time we stayed.

I really liked the house was very clean there was everything you need in the kitchen. The Master room loved the decor and very cozy, the bathrooms very spacious and clean. Something I mainly liked about the house is the security it has and the cameras. Everything else I loved it and wouldn't hesitate to come back to her house again. By the way, we leave it very clean. Nice cozy place, we loved it, and Jose and his sister were so nice and they gave us best quality coffee in the morning for free, also he was available at anytime . Definitely worth it!!

Everything was clean and clearly well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail throughout the property really stood out, from the tasteful decor to the thoughtful amenities. It’s worth noting how well-equipped the home is: it has a generator and water pump, so we never had to worry about any disruptions during our stay—huge peace of mind! Our host was super friendly and maintained excellent communication from booking through checkout. Every question we had was answered promptly and helpfully, and it was clear they truly care about providing a top-notch guest experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and reliable getaway!

Beautiful new house about a 1 minute walk to the main break at Colorado's. Very happy with the stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Air conditioning worked great. The space was clean and comfortable. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay in popoyo at Isabelle and Petrona's place. Peteona was on site to welcome us, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is very well equipped, located by the beach with restaurant and grocery store everything is on foot without problem. Directly next to the popoyo republic so you can music but nothing very intense. We enjoyed our stay we will be happy to come back!

Our stay at Salty Surf was fantastic! Emeline is a wonderful host, she has all the best tips for the area - Carolina (care taker) is very sweet and helpful too! The A/C in the bedroom worked great, bed was comfy and kitchen has all the basics for cooking. Beautiful spot on the beach, love having coffee listening to the ocean waves. Walking distance to a few good restaurants, coffee and groceries. Surfing is about a 15-20min walk away. Highly recommend this gem in Popoyo!

He was a great host, helping us very effectively despite the short time we made the arrangements. The house was impeccable, very comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent. And all communications with great efficiency and a permanent smile.
