The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

Nos gustó mucho hospedarnos en esta casa, especialmente porque es perfecta para llevar mascotas, ya que la propiedad es totalmente cerrada y tiene un patio amplio con zona verde. La casa es muy bonita y está bien equipada, la habitación principal es muy amplia. El barrio es muy tranquilo, seguro y silencioso.

Really enjoyed this private little getaway in the city and near the airport. Walkable to a small supermarket and restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed, cozy, helpful and welcoming hosts. We were able to bring our little dog no problem. Would definitely stay again.

La casa es amplia, con una hermosa iluminación natural, los cuartos, amplios y cómodos, todo estaba muy limpio, una cocina totalmente equipada. De los mejores hospedajes que puedes encontrar en Alajuela, valio 100% la pena lo que pagué.

Es un hermoso lugar rodeado se naturaleza. Muy como y limpio. Cerca de restaurantes y tiendas.

Casa Peces is well maintained and comfortable. The home is spacious and the neighborhood was peaceful. The pool was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with both Martha and Jessica. I would absolutely stay at Casa Peces again on a future trip!

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

My stay at this Airbnb in Alajuela was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I stepped in, I was in love with the place—it was so inviting and beautifully maintained that I playfully told the host I wanted to buy it! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the amenities were thoughtfully curated, ensuring every comfort was met. Located right in the heart of Alajuela’s city center, everything—shops, cafes, and local sights—was just steps away. While the central spot means some nighttime traffic noise, the area felt incredibly safe, which added to the overall charm. The host was exceptional, graciously allowing us to check in early, which made our arrival stress-free. Having the airport nearby was a huge convenience for our departure. As someone whose father grew up in Alajuela, staying here felt like a heartfelt return home, blending nostalgia with modern comfort. This Airbnb is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it enough for an unforgettable Costa Rican experience! Pura Vida!

This is my third time staying at Jason’s place and the apartment is spacious, well ventilated and with plenty of sun light. It is close to the university area and easy to drive from the apartment to Heredia Centro or San Rafael, giving you the opportunity to find places to eat and drink.

Booked this last minute and excellent communication. The place is newer and has great restaurants on the street level . Awesome pool and even better 21st floor to rooftop where you can spend the morning relaxing or wind down in the evening ! Check in was a breeze. The cooking facilty was awesome. Close to city but far enough to be away from the hustle n bustle

Gabriel is a great host, very proactive and responsive. The surroundings have plenty restaurants and it's easy to get around, and the place itself is very private. Very recommendable.

Fantastic stay! The location was perfect, with plenty of walkable restaurants nearby. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, and we loved having access to a great pool and gym.

Buscábamos un lugar cerca del Centro de Convenciones y este lugar está muy cerca como a 5 minutos. El departamento es muy moderno y tiene dispensadores de snacks y café auto asistido, eso me pareció excelente dado que llegamos bastante tarde y queríamos un café y pudimos comprar uno. Limpieza excelente y espacio súper agradable. Hay parqueo privado y seguridad. Volveríamos alojarnos aquí.

Our family group of 11 had a wonderful stay at Raquel's - we all wished it had been longer! The house was comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, the children enjoyed the pool, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The activities we had planned kept us away during most of each day, and we wished we had more time just to enjoy the space! Even with some water utility issues that were out of her control, she communicated with us about the potential problem, and the reserve tank kept us from being without water. Her responses to questions were quick and helpful. We highly recommend the place!!

It's funny, I stayed in a 40 ft container Airbnb last week and it seemed a little cramped, so whoever managed to fit this Airbnb in a 20 ft container did a great job. However, clearly compromises needed to be made. The Tiny House has a Tiny Shower Cubicle. And at 177 cm (5' 9.5") my head touched the bedroom ceiling, and I had to duck in the bathroom and using the stairs to avoid hitting my head. Bed is comfortable, shower is hot, and the one-person kitchen reasonably well stocked. One thing that needs to be fixed is the entrance to the parking area. Even in a 4x4 high-clearence vehicle, it is unnecessarily awkward to climb a 4 inch curb to enter the parking.

Sebas es el mejor host que he tenido hasta ahora. No solo es amable y servicial para atender cualquier consulta, sino que es de esas personas que va más allá de lo que le pedis o necesitas, con mucha calidad humana y servicio. Con respecto a las instalaciones, son tal como se describen y muestran en las fotos, con vistas increíbles y la posibilidad de conectar con la naturaleza. Las cataratas le dan un plus. Definitivamente es un lugar al que quiero volver!

Thanks Sheyla and Marco, great stay and all went well for me. The bed was absolutely first rate - do comfortable. Bonus was the excellent washer/dryer which after 2 weeks in Costa Rica I was needing to catch up on washing which I did in no time at all. First rate and I would definitely stay again with it's close proximity to the airport (SJO). best Graham

I always stay here when I need to be close to SJO airport. This condo is clean, safe, comfortable and easy to get to. It’s around the corner from city mall, which is super convenient. Also the place has a fully equipped kitchen as well as some snacks and drinks for purchase in the unit. Alejandro is an excellent host. I highly recommend this place as a home base in San Jose.

Emmanuel’s place was great. The house is in a beautiful location, close to the Poas Volcano, which is closed to the public due to volcanic activity. We were still able to find fun activities in the area. The home feels inviting and has everything you need, including extra blankets, as the nights did get chilly in June.

Todo muy limpio y ordenado, incluso tenía snacks y jugo de bienvenida, la cabaña es privada y con todo lo necesario para pasarlo bien, pantalla de buen tamaño, cocina equipada con varias especias para cocinar e incluso Jeannette nos ofreció información sobre restaurantes con envío a domicilio en el área para nuestra comodidad.

Ana's place was beyond lovely. Clean, elegant, spacious, airy, super thoughtful details from plenty of linens to beautiful blankets draped over chairs to an extremely well-appointed kitchen. The views were amazing and as an added treat, the neighborhood pups were a joy. Ana was always incredibly quick to respond and was very kind in her understanding of two folks visiting from out of the country. Highly recommend!!
