Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Río San Juan

came here on a solo surf trip, it was perfect. I wanted a low key place that wasn't a resort. This is a one bedroom apartment in a quiet safe location tucked away with a great outdoor space. The kitchen has all the basics to cook your own meals. The AC works well, it's in the bedroom only, but the house was cool when I came back from the beach every day (with the AC off), there's also a clean pool to cool off in. There's a fan in the kitchen as well if you need a breeze while cooking! The shower has hot water and decent pressure. Easy 5-10 min walk to the food park, a bakery/breakfast, and 2 convenience stores, and an ATM. Most importantly it's a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Absolutely highly recommend for a solo traveler/couple. I felt safe here and walked to the beach alone and to/from the shop at night. Eve was soooo helpful and very responsive! Her place looks exactly like the photos. Thank you so much Eve!!!

We have enjoyed staying at Rosalba's apartment. Everything's close by and the place was clean. Owners are flexibele.

Magnifique séjour à Rio San Juan. Le logement est grand spacieux et bien situé!! Pas très loin de la plage. Lola e toujours été là pour répondre à nos différents besoin.

Recomiendo mucho! Samuela es una anfitriona excelente. Contacto sin complicaciones y fue posible entrar antes. El piso tal y como se describía, cerca de la playa y de la calle pero en un entorno tranquilo con buena vibra (hay una laguna al lado). Además, Samuela me permitió utilizar la piscina, que se encuentra en el edificio al lado.

The views from this third floor apartment are fabulous! It's nice to see the ocean from both the living room and the bedroom. The space is nicely furnished and decorated. The shared bathroom, (accessed by walking through either bedroom) is large. Both bedrooms have AC, the living room doesn't and it can get a bit hot. The kitchen has everything you need, including a variety of pots and pans. Just be sure to bring your own basics (oil, salt, pepper). You can buy 5Gallon water containers at reception area for 75 pesos. We used the laundromat across the street for our personal items. We appreciated the weekly apartment cleanings that were included in the price. Morning Breeze is close to all the beach restaurants on the main strip. The shaded carpark was a bonus. Karla is a lovely host and is quick to respond to any message. The only real issue we had is that the apartment smelt like stale cigarette smoke. even after staying for a month and leaving the doors open every day.

Skvělý pobyt u Helgy v Cabarete! Byli jsme moc rádi, že jsme mohli pobývat v Helgině bytě, a naše zkušenost byla skvělá od začátku do konce. Byt byl nádherně čistý, pečlivě vybavený jak pro krátkodobé, tak i pro dlouhodobější pobyty, což nám velmi vyhovovalo. Lokalita je naprosto úžasná – blízko všeho důležitého, přesto v klidném prostředí a hned u pláže. A co bylo nejdůležitější, komunikace s Helgou byla výborná – vždy rychlá, vstřícná a ochotná pomoci. Moc děkujeme a určitě se sem rádi vrátíme!

I recommend this place to anyone on a budget. It was very clean for this price range. The only downsides were stains on the sheets and the window is next to the bar so it felt less private. Great pool, beautiful area and perfect for a cheap night away.

Great, spacious place to stay right in front of the beach

Frailyn a été un excellent hôte,il répondait à toutes nos exigences et très rapidement,j’ai adoré demeurer dans cette maison beaucoup de luminosité,trois grande chambre,ameublement neuf ,beaucoup de serviette et de couverture,chaudron ,et vaiselle parfait! Il y a pas d’air climatisé dans la cuisine et salon mais ont as toujours une très bonne brise de vent ..l’extérieur avec le toit c’est très pratique 2 chaises longues,une petite table et un ensemble de sofa parfait pour nous! La piscine est de très bonne grandeur ! Beaucoup de sécurité sur le site ! Le sol bémol la plage est à 15 minutes à pieds mais ça vaut la peine..merci pour mes deux mois passez dans cette belle maison!

Spacious and quiet second floor apartment. Loved the balcony and the neighbors. Appreciated ample parking and good communication with Vilson. Host was quick to respond to our needs.

Our stay at Flavien’s Villa was superb. The view was breathtaking, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Communication with the host was smooth, and we had a great time. The villa is conveniently located near all the main spots in Río San Juan. Each room offers privacy, great accommodations, and a private bathroom. We’ll definitely come back — highly recommended!

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in with a group. There was a restaurant for breakfast directly behind and it was a 3 minute walk to the beach and a beach club. It was easy to get taxis from the millenium next door and we felt completely safe every moment. Airbnbs for groups I find often don’t have the right relaxing areas for a group and this had so many areas we could all relax together. The beds were comfortable and clean, the showers were great as well. Everyone felt they had enough space and we were able to have so much fun in the back yard. I would say this is one of the best stays in Caberete!

My husband and I loved it, and the owners are very friendly. We traveled from Miami for Easter weekend to stay with my cousins, who were staying at another place, and we had a great time. The beach and downtown are very close, and there are many restaurants nearby, as well as a supermarket and currency exchange agency. This area is very quiet. It's great if you're traveling with children because you can show them nature. We loved it. We'll be back.

El lugar es excelente, acogedor y cómodo, la ubicación es perfecta, hay muchos lugares donde disfrutar, las playas y la laguna Grigri se pueden ir a pies de tan cerca que están. Finalmente nos encantó todo un maravilloso lugar y las personas del alrededor súper tranquilos y amables, nos sentíamos seguros al caminar por las calles. 😍💯

The location of this apartment is unbeatable. You can leave your gear outside in the porch, and walk to the water to kite or wing so easily. There is a restaurant between the apartment and the water, making it super convenient to grab food. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Internet was quick and reliable, and the air conditioning very effective. Some things about the apartment could be improved: 1) there is a weird smell, potentially coming from the washer, 2) the microwave is broken, 3) the hot water in the shower was inconsistent, and 4) it's not super private and there is a security guard in front 24/7. I would've liked to know before arriving how important it is to bring cash, as most restaurants we went to (including the one on the premises) don't accept credit cards. Stefan was great at providing information about conditions to do the sport, and extremely responsive to our needs! I'd suggest reading the FAQ of the yoga place next door for other useful info!

Me hospedé con mi familia en este hermoso alojamiento y fué perfecto para nosotros. El apartamento estaba súper limpio, moderno, espacioso y equipado con todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Cuenta con estacionamiento privado y un ambiente relajado justo al frente de la playa Los Minos, Wow la vista era increíble. Gracias Luis por ser un excelente anfitrión que siempre respondió rápidamente a cada uno de mis mensajes. Definitivamente cuando visite Rio San Juan me quedaré aquí de nuevo. 100 % recomendado.

Oliver’s place is in a very safe environment, clean, modern and comfortable. All appliances, hot water, WiFi, TV and air conditioning works well. It is located in an environment that has a nice clean pool area to relax and a restaurant onsite. Oliver’s place is within walking distance of everything you need and his communication is good if you need any information. I highly recommend Oliver’s place.

Really nice apartment with a beautiful view and very well maintained property!

This condo is right on the beach in a secure, gated community. It is well maintained, the pool and jacuzzi were sparkling clean, and they have poolside drink service during the daytime. Tuva Restaurant is next door, with a security guard at the gate between the restaurant and Seawinds property. The terrace at Rafael’s condo was delightful for sitting to have coffee or in the evening to watch the sun go down. He had ample supplies of towels in the bathrooms. A very comfortable, attractively decorated, and ample place.
