Or, simply relax on the spacious back deck admiring the redwoods with a glass of wine or lounge in the soothing hot tub.

A short walk to the Russian River, 1.8 miles to Armstrong Redwoods Park, 25 minute drive to the coast. The cottage is nestled on its own private level of the property while the host's house is on street level.

Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). The River House is far enough from the main road to be quiet and serene but is still just walking distance from the Russian River where you can float/swim all day. The house has incredibly fast wifi as well as an electric car charging port. The neighborhood has a tennis court, Pee Wee golf course, community playground, and the house is walking distance from the Rio Nido Roadhouse which offers incredible food, drinks, and live music.

Perfect little studio with the best of everything: Surrounded by giant redwoods, but with plenty of open sky to enjoy on the large sunny deck. Quiet and secluded, but a short walk down the hill and you're at the independent bookstore and coffee shop; the local beach, with full service rentals and classic canteen or one of Guerneville's fabulous restaurants, boutique shops or (nearly) famous handmade ice cream shop.
