Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ribeira Grande

Katia's home has a wonderful view of Paul's green valley. The setting is totally exotic and soothing! The accommodation is located in a small village with a few shops and restaurants nearby. Thanks to Katia for helping us arrange transportation for our arrival and departure.

We stayed in this lovely house in the middle of the village for 8 people for 4 days. All rooms are very nice and with lots of charm. The sea view is beautiful. The locals are very welcoming, including Gabi and Veronica who managed our welcome on site. We ate at Veronica's restaurant every night, her cuisine is excellent and she took care to vary the meals (there is very little in the grocery stores to cook on site). We had a driver during our 4 days who was able to recommend nice hikes and booked us our lunchtime meals. We lacked soap and shower towels, but nothing too bad for us. If you want to be exotic and immersed in Cape Verde, Odile's is the place to go. We loved it!

Charming and quiet house, matches the photos. Sandra prepared a typical meal for us twice, very good. She also holds a gazebo next to the church with drinks and food. 2 small grocery stores in the village and a distributor (ATM). Village quite central for all excursions with aluguer.

We had a wonderful time in Carlos's dream house. Great views, plenty of space and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Multiple seats around the house and a driveway behind the gate to place a car. Possibility to cook in the large kitchen, the shop next to the house even has sandwiches and fresh eggs. A number of kittens and cats sometimes walked through the garden(do not come in), they do like an extra bite to eat ;) Don't forget to bring something for the mostly poor population such as the inhabitants of the distant mountain villages, a small effort with a big effect! Among other things, we brought colored pencils, erasers and drawing stuff, they were so happy. Restaurant Casa Maracuja is highly recommended!

We enjoyed the cottage. The simplicity… that's all you need. The 9 days we sat here sometimes slipped by reading, talking and watching. In addition to of course the beautiful walks. The sparrows, the cricket and the sound of the crashing waves, the rustling of the palms. Really seeing a bougainville and the bird of paradise flower. Everything is in the village and within walking distance, shops, restaurants. Marie- Hélène took care of everything and regularly came to ask if we needed anything. We feel safe and at home.

The couple working for the house also perfectly represents kindness and humility Cape Verdienne. I only want to go back because a night is too short to appreciate the place. See you soon🥰.

Our stay at Kasa d’vizin was amazing. The apartment was beautiful, with thoughtful touches and a private balcony overlooking banana trees which a perfect spot to relax. Located in stunning Eito, it’s an ideal base for hiking and exploring the valley. The staff went above and beyond, and Hannelore, the owner, was incredibly kind and responsive. The sense of community, friendly neighbours, and delicious vegan and vegetarian-friendly meals made our stay even more special. We wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to return. Highly highly recommend! Already dreaming of coming back!

I stayed at Katia's place for 3 nights. The cottage is really beautiful and the location is really middem im nature / mountains. The bathroom was nice and there was hot water. Most beautiful view from the toilet 😂 Katia always responded quickly and was super helpful. The place also had a lot of privacy. You'll be woken up by the roosters from the street, but that's part of the charm. O curral across the street is really fantastic.

Large two bedroom apartment. In kitchen there is everything, even coffee capsules, salt, etc. Washing machine with washing detergent. Large balcony with a great view. Only the sun beds are missing.
