We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

The accommodation was beautiful in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also thought the private parking was great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Our stay in Madeira was not only beautiful, but thanks to this accommodation really relaxed and particularly uncomplicated. What particularly impressed us was the outstanding flexibility: wishes were immediately taken into account, individual concerns were always implemented in a friendly and solution-oriented manner. You can just tell that they work with heart and genuine hospitality. Communication was always fast, personal and helpful – this creates trust and an all-round good feeling. It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

Love our short stay here! The place is nicely located with lots of shops and facilities nearby. It was clean and tidy when we arrived with lots of essentials provided. The hosts are friendly and very easy to communicate with, they were responsive to any issues we have and open to share their recommendations too!

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. The apartment was perfect, very nice and spacious. The location is very good, it is located in the center of the island in the southern part, and it is always sunny, something that we appreciated a lot after coming from the north and being cloudy. The only downside is that being next to the church, the bells woke us up every morning 😂 The perfect host, Angela answered right away.

It was a very pleasant stay, the views were amazing. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. The whole house was really well equipped, there was everything you needed. The host was very kind. One thing, but rather related to Madeira itself, that little caterpillars were walking into the house. Other than that the stay was amazing.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Perfect location for hikers! Rent a car and drive all around the island. Easy parking for small car. Extremely quick response from hosts. Full kitchen. family of 4 adults and 2 teens. perfect in every way.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Our stay in Camara de lobos went very well. Lots of restaurants nearby, very nice view, pleasant for walks, well located to explore the whole island. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The only weak point is the difficulty of driving in the street because it is very narrow and dangerous for novices like us who know little about the steep and mountainous roads, and who had a fairly large vehicle (Nissan Juke). With a smaller vehicle, it's easier and it's possible to park in front of the apartment. Very good stay.

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect home base. The host checked us in and walked us through the apartment to show us how things worked which was great. The location was not super walkable to restaurants and such for my parents due to the steep hills, but it wasn't an issue for us and the beach path was great to walk in the evenings. Definitely recommend.
