The house is just in front of Portugal, on the Spanish shore of the mouth of the Rio Miño. Five kilometers from the house is the fishing village of A Guarda. There are white sandy beaches located on the islands of the Miño River just in front of the house and on the Atlantic Ocean. Very close by there are also beautiful typical tourist villages in Spain and Portugal.

We are only ten minutes walking distance from the train station and/or bus station. The bridge up the street is right by the Medieval Castle. Pilgrims walk by our building in their way to Santiago de Compostela. There is a park across the street. Every Wednesday and Saturday a traditional street market invades the surroundings. If you are an active person, there is a CrossFit box, a traditional gym and many running and bike trails near by
