Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rhyl

Had a beautiful few days at The Barn in Trelawnyd. Paul and his family were great hosts. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, our little Cavapoochon was in heaven with the enormous grounds and private wooded area. Highly recommend! 😀

Dog friendly cottage, close to the river and other walks. Small cottage, was a bit of a squeeze with our bigger dog. All was clean. Contact with Annette was great, clear instructions and always replied. Recommend

Very lovely place to stay. The house is clean and tidy and it’s better than I expected. The host is nice and kindly recommend the place to visit nearby. The only thing have to aware is the car parking. It is not very wide just like other comments said, it’s not easy to park in especially if your car is big.

Perfect stay. Super clean, had everything we needed and more. Ideal for our family of 4. Highly recommended and we would definitely return.

We stayed at Popty Pennant (the Bakehouse) in June. Nick informed us that parts of the settlement can be dated back to the Elizabethan era, and you can certainly see the history of the beautiful area over time. The tiny house is compact with most things you need for a short stay and comes highly recommended for an authentic North Wales experience.

Stayed for 3 nights as Richard, my partner, had training for an ultra marathon up in Snowden mountains. Crazy I know! The apartment was on the ground floor and everything was sparkling clean. I’m usually funny about sleeping somewhere else but I had the best night sleep ever. Carolyne was knowledgeable about the area and gave us recommendations to visit, however, Richard’s and my training kind of took most of our time. I would definitely book with Carolyne, again.

Lovely stay for the 5 of us for a girls trip celebrating a 25th birthday. Amazing views and local town just a drive away. Place was clean and cosy and we loved the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

Lovely accommodation in a nice quiet location with a pleasant 20 minute walk to the town facilities. The property was bright, clean and comfortable with plenty of on street parking. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely weekend stay felt very at home! Excellent communication running up to the stay and on the day. Tony showed us around on arrival explaining everything and told us to ask if there was anything we needed. Nice selection of teas and coffees, fresh milk was offered. This property is a lovely find and so handy for everything, tips and information available in the property. Everything was clean, slept well and a great shower. Great TV’s! Easy on street parking that’s free. Unlike some other seaside resorts Llandudno remains a good place to visit with a variety of shops and eateries without looking rundown. A trip up to the Great Orme is a must! Will visit again! Thank you both!

Jon was a very responsive and helpful host. The apartment is ideally located just a minute off the promenade. There are local shops just round the corner and we felt safe and comfortable. The flat is spacious and comfortable, well equipped and family & pet friendly. Our grandkids loved it so much, they asked if we could come back in the summer! Thanks Jon!

What a STUNNING place. I needed a quiet solo retreat following my 50th birthday and it was perfect. Waking up and going to sleep (sometimes several times a day!) looking at the sea was glorious. Had several baths looking up at the hills and the sky. Even baked some cookies! I left feeling restored. Couple of things I didn’t know, but that don’t reflect on Melinda as a host: - parking is on the road, not on the drive, but I got space directly outside - I could even keep an eye on my car from the bedroom! - there is a bit of a smell (from a neighbour who smokes?) that comes up into the lounge that kept me out of it sometimes - the road is quite busy with cars during the day, so you will mainly hear the sea in the morning and the evening. Rhos is minutes away - I had a couple of fab meals at Fortes. Buses are very easy - I went to Llandudno for the Thurs male voice choir concert at St Johns. Colwyn is an easy walk up the beach. Gorgeous! I’d love to come back.

Lovely clean and bright place to stay. Julie made it clear to us not to hesitate to reach out if we needed help or advice with anything. But to be honest she has everything in order to the detail. Everything was hassle free from check in right through to check out and left alone to come and go as we pleased. We would certainly stay again. Alyson is a friendly and helpful host. We really enjoyed our stay in her lovely apartment. It is so convenient for shops, restraunts, train station and seafront, all are in easy walking distance. Gated parking for added security.

Chris and Julie were very welcoming, helpful, kind and responsive during our time at their beautiful property. The property is an amazing place, very private and set back off the road right by a fresh water creek, nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature. There is a conscious eco-lodge feel to the place and much has been done to give the place a natural and peaceful feel, including natural bedding and products in a space that has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is great too, with the town of Betws-y-Coed only about 15 minutes away and various Snowdon summit tracks not too far beyond that. A big thank you to Chris & Julie - I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.

I felt right at home. The decor was modern and fresh. The cleanest I've ever seen. What I liked : own front door to outdoors, big new TV, good internet, comfortable bed and milk, tea, coffee, and health bars. The host even offered to make me a sandwich as I had missed lunch. If I ever come to the Wirral again, this is where I will stay.

Such a lovely apartment, perfect for what we needed. The host is a great balance of giving you privacy but quick to respond to messages if you have any questions. It's exactly as stated, easy to access, great rooms (I want to move in to the bathroom for the shower alone!), had everything we could have thought of, and is in a brilliant location. The local woodland area was 30 seconds down the road and perfect for taking the dog

We had a lovely stay in Elan’s apartment! It’s so clean and has everything you could need. The outdoor space is really nice and the apartment itself was easy to access/ instructions were clear. Located in a quiet and peaceful area. Elan was very kind and accommodating, leaving us welcome gifts and being very responsive. Thanks for a great trip!

Great little flat in a very convenient location, only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. It is comfortable and has everything you need, even coffee, tea, and milk in the fridge (which was an unusual and generous touch—usually the first thing I do in an Airbnb is run out to buy milk for the morning coffee!). If anything is missing, Julia will quickly respond. It was extremely quiet and clean and I enjoyed my stay.

We had such a lovely stay here during our time in Wales! The house had a really comfortable and welcoming atmosphere — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby shops and takeaways just a short walk away, which made everything super convenient. One of our favourite features was the enclosed garden — a peaceful little suntrap that was perfect for relaxing. Our two dogs absolutely loved lounging on the grass and soaking up the sunshine! Inside, the space was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Both bedrooms had great TVs, which was a nice touch for winding down in the evenings. The dishwasher made post-meal clean-up a breeze, which we really appreciated after busy days out. The fast and reliable Wi-Fi and great location just made everything even better. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again — highly recommended!
