Such a perfect little escape! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which made cooking super easy. The sunset views from the hot tub were absolutely beautiful, and ending the night with s’mores made the whole stay feel magical. It was the ideal mountain getaway—would definitely come back!

Fantastic home, fantastic hosts, fantastic location. Everything about this place is what you could hope for when traveling. Darcy provided snacks, fresh farm raised eggs, and fresh sourdough bread. I’m a hiker and this place was centrally located for multiple amazing waterfall hikes. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Darcy was very proactive And provided so much helpful information. Her guidebook is something every host should provide. It made it very simple for me to plan my days. This place is private and peaceful and the hot tub is amazing too. It’s also a 90 minute drive to Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga. Highly recommend and can’t wait to make my next visit. My family just wanted a quick day and a half road trip somewhere new and luckily for us, I came across this absolute gem! If you’re stressing, no matter the cause, this place is the cure! Just as the pictures so accurately depict, it’s located right on the river with stunning views! I can’t believe I’m this far in and haven’t mentioned Lacey & Oliver! Having cats back ourselves, this was a priceless addition to the stay! Two of the friendliest cats to help make our stay feel right at home, especially for our young son. They will even curl right up in the bed with you! The hot tub was relaxing after a long day and the ambience with the lights and the backyard made for a romantic and peaceful late night soak for my wife and I. Finding Godspeed You! Black Emperor on vinyl to listen to was a huge surprise and took me way back while chilling downstairs. This place just nails every checkmark you’ll be looking for if you just need to disconnect and discover some new world! 6 stars!

My husband and I had an amazing anniversary weekend at ShallowHallow. This location has it all. Lots of space, all the amenities, and plenty of activities. We never had to leave the house. The deck overlooked the water providing peaceful breaks between spending time out on the dock. Having access to the canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards was the highlight. There was plenty of no wake zones to get out on the water and soak up some sun. We left wishing we could live there full time.

Our stay at Richard’s place was everything we hoped for and more! The location was perfect—close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. The interior was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotless. We especially loved the private porch and hot tub—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. Richard was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Tiffany's place! The location was perfect, the space was clean and well-maintained, and Tiffany was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She has the coffee station fully stocked, little treats like popcorn, snack cakes and even ice pops in the freezer for the kids! The highlight for us was the hottub with the deck lighting. It was so nice and relaxing in this beautiful, country setting. Highly recommend!

We came to Dunlap to celebrate a graduation and this home was in the perfect location. Close to town, family, and our event. It had plenty of room for our group and offered endless areas to hang out and play in during our stay. The hot tub was a huge hit and we even swam in the giant pool (despite expert cooler temp weather) with amazing views. The deck was enjoyed everyday. It really is a wonderful home!

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE spot! We had such a wonderful time at Brad’s cabin. The views were breathtaking, and there were so many cozy places to unwind. Our dog, June, had the time of her life—especially meeting sweet Dudley! We enjoyed exploring the nearby trails and watching the storms roll in over the mountains from the deck—truly a spectacular sight. Evenings were spent relaxing in the hot tub and cooking in the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. This place truly exceeded all our expectations. It was the perfect getaway to relax and recharge. Brad was incredibly responsive and a fantastic host!

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin! Very secluded and private, close to beautiful hikes. The pictures do not do this place justice, and it was well stocked with anything you might have forgotten. We will definitely stay again!

The nearby waterfall we went to was beautiful and can not wait to come back to see more of the local nature. The host was extremely helpful with suggestion of sites and very responsive to questions. This property was great for us as out-of-towners for a nearby wedding. The place is large and everything worked exactly as needed. We especially enjoyed how well-stocked it was, since there aren't any super close stores. Plenty of coffee and laundry pods for our stay. :) My only (minor complaints) would be that the beds were super firm IMO, and that it would've also been nice if firewood were included since the closest Walmart was fairly far away. It's a dirt road in - manageable in my tiny sedan, but I recommend taking it slow.
