Guests often look for experiences that let them explore a city like a local. Your title and description should highlight your local ties and how the experience offers a unique way to see the city’s authentic side.

Naming your experience

Start your title with an action verb that conveys what guests will do during the experience. Follow the action with details that make your title stand out.

Be specific and precise. Keep your title to 50 characters or fewer.

Avoid repeating phrases that appear across other listings in your area. Don’t use other people’s names or trademarks without permission.

Examples of great experience titles:

  • Bake croissants with a Parisian pastry chef
  • Ride the waves in Rio with a professional surfer
  • Sketch like an artist at the National Gallery

Describing your experience

Your description should complement your title. Start with the main reason a guest might book the experience. Add more details about your background, what makes the location special and the activity you’ll do together.

Choose language that makes the experience sound too exciting to miss. Be direct, concise and informative.

Emphasise your local connection, whether that’s because of your background, the location, the activity or a combination of all three. Keep your description to 90 characters or fewer.

Examples of great experience descriptions:

  • Blend and taste the Bay’s famous single-origin chocolate with locally sourced ingredients.
  • Discover the arena’s ancient artifacts alongside a seventh-generation Roman.
  • Explore NYC’s famous elevated walkway with a docent from its founding organisation.
