There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

After a long drive, Kelly's place was such a perfect place to rest for the night. It felt just like "coming home." The home is so comfortable, cozy, and well appointed. We had everything we needed, it was impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially liked the historic pictures of Smithland. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay again!

We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed our stay! The property was as described. The host was accessible and responsive. I would recommend this property if you’re visiting the Paducah area. The only suggestion is bring a sound machine, the road can be a little loud during morning rush hour. The night was very quiet. Thank you guys for sharing your property.

Lots of history is provided to read about the house and area, the decor was so charming, there was plenty of information to assist with our visit to Paducah and Jim was quick to respond with all the details to make our visit easy and relaxing. If our travels bring us back to Paducah we will definitely stay at the Buddenbaum! ❤️

Patty was wonderful, she sent instructions on how to get in ahead of time and called to make sure we were able to find it. The cabin was beautiful and very peaceful. While slower, I did have cell service but it was really nice to disconnect for the weekend. There is a beautiful porch overlooking a pond where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Our toddler loved walking around the property and had plenty of space on the porch to play. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to booking again next year!
