The Cob Barn - Mountain Forest Retreat

MarkRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a gorgeous property. A relaxing weekend was exactly what we were after, and it didn't disappoint. Jo and Caleb's attention to detail with wine, chocolate and a fire already going for us on arrival was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. The property and surrounds are even better than they look in the photos. The walks into the lush surrounding countryside are amazing. The outdoor hot water bath is wonderful, as is the small lake which is topped off with a row boat. Just divine. The cob earthen barn home itself is incredible, so comfortable and cosy for a winter getaway. We didn't want to leave! Everything is top notch, you will want for nothing during your stay here. Highly recommend Jo and Calebs Cob barn to anyone wishing for truly relaxing and enjoyable get away.

Thornby Farm stay

GeraldineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a beautiful location. The gardens and butterflies were really special. We enjoyed our fireplace and the sunsets every night. Feeding Goldie (the pony) and Barbara (the sheep) were a highlight. As well as the personal touches of local wines, home made scone recipe and ingredients and the lemons from the lemon tree. Thank you Ann, it was a lovely family get together. Highly recommended.

Saint Andrew's Church Deloraine

Shanna’s place just blew our minds! I think it’s the most spectacular airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. No detail was missed and the wine and cheese on arrival was such a beautiful surprise welcoming gift. Both fires were stoked ready for us to light, and every room we walked into was a ‘WOW!’ moment! Thanx so much for having us, we’d love to come back again next time we visit Tassie. Highlight of our trip!

Your off-grid escape in Tasmania - Camp Nowhere

MoniqueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The nowhere cabin is exactly as described. The perfect retreat for 2 away from the world where you can just unwind and be still. Perfectly placed to get out and about further afield to do big walks. But we were happy to hide from the cold and rain inside with a big fire. The decor and styling is so perfect and makes the cabin feel like home. So many little touches that are genius. Ashley let us check out late as the cleaner was going to be late coming in. Just such an amazing time was had.

Blackwood Park Cottages - Ariel Cottages

RebeccaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful stone cottage! It was well designed, exceptionally clean, well maintained & very comfortable – the perfect winter retreat. We loved being greeted by the friendly & well behaved resident dogs each morning, cooking in the well-appointed kitchenette, watching the wallabies from the deck at dusk, soaking in the hot tub under the stars, then curling up by the fire with a board game. The location is incredible – peaceful & private, surrounded by rolling hills & wildlife, yet only a short drive to Deloraine. It’s a great base for exploring the Mole Creek Karst National Park & caves, with Allum Cliffs just a short walk from the front door, Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary nearby & access to local truffles and plentiful farm produce. Shane and Yuko were wonderful hosts – warm, helpful, and responsive. A big thanks to Shane for keeping the firewood so well stocked. We'd have loved to stay longer and plan to return on our next trip!

The River Studio

Absolutely beautiful little place. Spotless, cosy, very peaceful - loved the fireplace. We appreciated the bread and butter, jams, and little present for my partners birthday. Sarah also let us have a late checkout which was much appreciated. Fantastic location 5 minutes from great restaurants and supermarket, 10 mins from Launceston. We will absolutely stay again.

Forest Hall, Tasmania

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Forest Hall is a magnificent old house which Emma & Stu are very proud to own. The house is gorgeous with a huge garden which they are restoring to its original beauty. There are wonderful outbuildings, and the rooms inside the house are luxurious. The bedrooms have delicious linens, the library was our favourite spot with the fire going and a good book. The area has nice cafes and drives, it's a great base for this part of Tasmania. A chance to enjoy a geniune slice of romantic Tasmanian history.
